I discovered the game series today, when i went to kongregate's main page and noticed the third one, so i decided to play the first one.
Spent the next hour playing all three games, and i don't regret a minute of it. I was glad to see the improvement in both graphics and game-play (mostly noticeable in the second game).
Anyhow, I absolutely loved it!!!
Shivering with anticipation for the 4th part! GOOD JOB!

@Hyptosis, you've acknowledged several times that the lack of mute-button was an honest mistake, and that's fine... so are you going to do an update to put one in?

TO BE CONTINUED.........It was a bit too short! And there was little to do...AND you don't explain anything!!!!! AAAARGHHH!!! I want MORE!!!!!! Still, great game, but way too short episode! When the next one?
I explained who the witch really was, and that grandmother is hiding nearby and that there was once an ancient race that lived in the swamp other than those that piloted the submarine, and other stuff. :/

That monster thing scared me pretty much.It somehow looks like it wants to eat you. But besides of that I really loved this game :)

I would just like to add a note about the filthling's comment on the schizophrenics, what they actually sound like they have is a split personality disorder, schizophrenia is hallucinations and paranoia.

So... I'm genuinely curious. Who lied? Who was "she"? I've played through the fourth episode and I have no idea who you were referrng to -- I thought there would be some great reveal of a HORRIBLE PAST wherein he slaughtered someone who falsely admitted to being a witch (knowngly). Perhaps because the brown guy's sudden appearance seemed design to KILL YOU. Little bastard kept me up at night.
I was kind of disappointed that this wasn't clarified -- and would lovet to learn more about this world.

When you talk to Ettlethorn at the beginning of the game, on the conversation path "I am aware of this.", she says "No one ... will be able to pay you for the serivce." TYPO!! My life is complete. I am an idiot.

Here's a hint (and I try to make it non-spoilery) for everyone who has collected everything including the shovel, but doesn't know how to go on: when you talk to the people you meet, you get to hear a poem. It sounds cryptic, but it is a hint for the spinning tree.

Dev, you can grab the drill without doing the puzzle in the tree off to the right of the center; in between rows. Please fix it.

The sudden face appeared like, 20 times but I still got a mini heat attack every time. No has one ever gotten the best of me like that. LOL. Great job on the story!

There is a great improvement in the layout of the game. It's good. Good game. ^.^ The Fenrirr wolf is very cool. He could probably be the hero in a shoujo manga. Just saying...
THAT SCARED ME THOUGH. The little brown guy. AND THE WHISPERING AT THE END. That was scarier. >.< 0.0 I applaud you though. Good game!

PLEASE don't put a sudden scare like that ghost thing appearing out of nowhere over and over again! I beg you...I almost decided not to finish the game because of it... Aside from that, though, great game!

i was playing at 11:20pm here and that brown thingy really scared the sh*t out of me! can't wait for the episode 4, keep it up guys XD
Haha sorry :P I wanted him to be creepy, but not startling, hence the reason he makes no sound. Oh well :P Also my team is basically just me by myself, the only thing I don't do it the music. Thanks! Stay cool man.

Wow, so one of the big mysteries in this story is completely solved in a cutscene that is started off by an event that had nothing to do with any of the clue gathering or puzzle solving of the previous 2 games. Nope, wouldn't have wanted to find the real witch on my own and defeat her on my own.
