HUGE plus for firefly reference (one of the quotes in the victory screen was spoken by Jayne Cobb in pilot of the series)

Wait, I'm given 5 gold for a dagger that by history alone is worth a fortune? o.O And I didn't think of selling it myself? I must be a lawful good character. Damnit.

You'll probably not get to read this, but meh.
Awesome, awesome game. It takes the best part of old school text RPGs -- rich descriptions that give the player an idea of the world they're playing in, while leaving much to their own imagination -- while getting rid of the more annoying bits and adding just enough (really good, by the way) art to keep things interesting. I would absolutely love to see this as a browser game. My only complaint, and it is a small one, is that there should be some way to see what the different stats affect without trial-and-error, especially given that there isn't a way to redo stats. Excellent game, dude.

Lovely artwork and music. Fun and interesting ideas for monsters. But the game itself was a bit too simplistic. If you wanted to capture the feel of old text adventures you should have tried to include some puzzle aspects. Still; 4/5 for the awesome atmosphere.

OH NOAZ, PIXIE HAZ NIPS VISUAL, PRON GAME! BANABAN!
Nah, Just joking (Although the Pixie does show nips >_>), Its an awesome game, But the arrows for movement need to be bigger D:
Apart from that, 6/5 for being so epic,
When I saw text based I though "Meh, Crap"; I tried it and its epic :D

for some reason i could continue adding stat points :P :P :P killed the boss with one blow (335 strenght!) no lying! got like 163 dex 85 vit (450 hp) 25 int (220 mana) and 70 luck (for some reason). I like cheating (even if it happend at accident) so 5/5

i dont think the designer is getting enough credit on the artwork. Personally i think it is stunning.
I completed the game with all points into dex. I never went to the inn and only relied on the two potions

Some more shops would make it much better imho, that's really frustrating to travel all the way back to the "nearest" shop when you're in the middle of nowhere and then having to travel all the path again to where you have walked before... Or, it would be nice to be able to travel more quickly through places you already visited...

wow this takes me back to my spectrum games like Never Ending Story and even the early leisure suit larry games. "Go North" "pick up item" love this.

Props on the firefly reference "dear diary: today i was pompous and my sister was crazy. today we were kidnapped by hillfolk, never to be seen again. it was the best day ever."

For all of those having trouble with relics:
You have to equip them in your equipment menu. You can only have one equipped, and they appear as strange objects in your selection box above the arrows when you find them.

make a seguel.. the game rocks... just a hint: the exp gained from battle should depend
on how hard the enemy is not your own level (i am level 9 after 3 minutes killing wind skeever)

"Wow, it's amazing how these simple text descriptions create such a vivid, beautiful description of a journey across these majestic cliffs, I wond-- OCTOFERRET!!!"

I can see that you've put hours upon hours to add to this game. I absolutely love the graphics, and how descriptive each scene is. I give it a 5/5 for all of these things. One thing I'd like to see more of is harder enemies. Great game overall.

Great idea and concept, needs a little technical work with things like stats and smaller things like that. Overall it's good, 4/5

NOTE:
you can block an enemy's attack when you click anywhere in a battle after the enemy's attack bar is full, sometimes, blocked attacks costs very less or no damage at all
keep it alive

Wow, This game is fun, all i did was level strength and dexterity back and forth and I hit twice as fast and deal twice the damage at the cost of health, luck, and intellect.

I seemed to lose gold after handing in the mana monster quest. I had around 300+ going into it and when I talked to Emma it went down to 50. :(

I like the game, and I'll give it a 5/5 for effort. There are some balance issues, though. As people have mentioned, Dexterity is too powerful. Also, why do some spells get more expensive to cast as you gain levels? Are you magical powers meant to be eroding? The game should be a little less linear, I think, though obviously a lot of the text is meant to be read in order. Also, combat needs to be a bit more interactive; either make mana regenerate at a good rate so that you can choose when and if to use spells, or include non-mana maneouvres. Otherwise it's just a timesync.

I love this. Would like to more comprehensive volume controls so I can lower it some and turn off the music instead of just straight muting everything. I want to listen to some radio while I play.

I haven't finished the game, yet, but is it too early to say that I'm enjoying it? I love the artwork, the interface is pretty good, and the actual language of the descriptions and interactions is really excellent. Cheers!
