I can't believe it - i did it (hard badge) on second try! I just pushed up and hold it. I had some luck in spikes placement, and did a 372m run. My fastest hard badge ever :D

after 5 minutes I got it. :D what really helped me was to just super/dash jump consistently until you reach about 150. play it smart.

has anyone else run in to the problem that you cant slide down any or you'll get zapped but you cant jump either because you will get zapped

Turning the keyboard sideways and using my thumb seemed to help. Just another example of how the NES has ruined me for life.

there is a reason why no games require the ESC button. because most people will play this game first, brake the key and not be able to play the game. damn :[

Wait, getting to 350 was for a hard badge? I thought it would be a medium.... anywho kudos to killing me 85 times for getting too ambitious and trying to climb to 100 meters as quickly as possible only to jump into an off-screen spike wall, the game seemed to be able to predict my every move

does it annoy anyone else that you can't gain any distance from that laser, It always just spawns at the bottom of your screen. So you can't buy yourself any extra time

Oh man this game again. Took me like 2 hours to get hard badge after destroying 3 keyboards and 2 monitors. Never Ending Rage!!!

If you try to trick the laser by going past it and then fall back, it stands rigth above you and the instructions turn into a trollface. ROFL much

When you start, if you jump to where the laser would be, but you don't jump past it, when you slide back down you see Trollface.

Can you actually escape or is it useless to even try? Should I just let the little shadow man chill at the bottom and watch some TV instead?

Incase anyone needs help with the hard badge here are some hints. 1. The laser has a set speed to go up every second so if you go fast in the beginning its much easier then going slower. 2. Trying hitting escape as soon as you land for the first 80-100m if you do this correctly you will see a shadow of your character as you jump. 3. for the last 100 or so meters there is constant spikes which is pronbably the hardest part about this badge. 4. You're gonna need a lot of luck It took me about an hour to get the hard badge using these tips. Other then that Good Luck! + To keep this comment alive.
