This may just be the best time waster I've ever played in my life. The simplicity is delightful and the mental agility needed is neither too weak or too intense. A lot of fun with a great, simplistic idea: 5/5

this is pure luck; the range of jump heights (between tapping escape and holding it) is so small that you have no real control. 2/5

Good game.. but really really overrated.. You guys do realize all you do is jump and avoid only 2 things that can potentially kill you.. If there was some variation to this game would be noteworthy. Like some different traps, or upgrades like jump height and speed. Good start, but this game needs a lot of work. 3/5

The biggest problem I have with the game is that I can't see far enough. Lots of times, I jump directly into a platform I couldn't have anticipated because it wasn't onscreen yet.

A bit too luck based for my taste. Terribly addictive though, and at least 50% based on reflex skill, so it's not as bad as some luck games out there. My BIGGEST problem though is the laser cheats, and keeps up with you in the beginning, no matter how fast you go the first 200m. Still, viciously addictive. Kept me hooked for a good hour before I had to rage/need-to-sleep quit. 3/5

You'd probably think a game like this would be ridiculously unplayable and mind-numbingly boring... and IT IS JUST THAT! Amazing. 1/5

Players should be given more control. This could have been done thousands of ways. These are a few
a) Provide "life-saver" options. Eg. double-jumps, shield/slow-mo power-ups etc. Provide limited numbers at the start that last throughout or available as pick-ups.
b) Let us anticipate "spikes" better i.e. larger view ahead
c) Slower laser speed. This point together with the top point makes it impossible for almost any sort of planning/strategy. Even half a second gets you killed in the 200-300 region, not to mention the effect of each pause or slide snowballs so quickly into your eminent death.
d) Allow for a larger variability between the smallest and largest jumps. I cannot begin to count the times I'm stuck between a rock and a rapist, when in that situation no matter how far I slide or how lightly or furiously squeezed the esc button is pressed, I'd die.
Point in case- 349 on a game. 53 on next. Then, 113. And, 13...what?

Really frustrating game; fun for about 20 minutes. Couple of comments...
The "super speed" mechanic doesn't help you because the laser is always just below the screen... you never really leave it behind. So you might as well stay slow from the start, or get effing lucky. And then, when you get the hard 300m+ zone, the laser is also faster. >sad face<
This game proves that life isn't always fair, but at least life doesn't make me play this game!

Great game! Perhaps a bit underrated. Tips for hard badge: Don't keep doing huge jumps for the speed bonus, it doesn't work unless you are stupidly lucky. You can control how far you jump by how long you hold down the esc key, it took me 15 mins to see that. Look ahead and try to plan your route, this comes with practice really, the laser moves so fast at 300+ you have to rely on reflexes.

Yeah...3/5 because I can't press ESC easily on this keyboard.
Don't force your player to use a button they might not be able to use!
I'll give it 5/5 if it could change the key mapping.

Games like these shouldn't get achievements. ESPECIALLY hard achievements based on luck. A child could make this "game'.

I was doing pretty well, going at about 330M, until Norton decides to pop an ad up right in front of the screen telling me to renew. Needless to say, I now have Webroot. Good riddance, Norton.

What annoys me most about this game is how awesomely fast you can go only to be skerewed mere seconds later. I mean really it gives us no chance of using what i think is the coolest thing in the game, since randomly placed spikes will always appear where you are about to land, without you even seeing them until it is way too late.

My escape key on my keyboard is this horrible recessed thing.
Although it was a really cool idea to press escape, I would definitely want a way to change the control to say, the space bar, or ANY key.

i agree with stradivaris, this game did not deserve badges. dont care if it was for a 72 hour contest. The game would be ridiculous enough without the laser chasing you, but combine the laser, the ridiculous placement of spikes most of the time, and the fact you have no time tos et up an angle (or really any precision to set up said angle) makes it just a terrible game.

Okay I think this is a really bad game. It likes to put you in literal "no win" situations, where you can't jump low or high, as spikes cover each landing, and you can't slide down the wall to reposition yourself because of the laser. Games like this, especially ones with badges, should NEVER be based on lucky spike placement.

this is y i play on kong. simple games like this which makes it fun yet challenging. not over the roof done games which takes 4 ever to pass and get the achievements.10/5

really fun, lot of action in this game.
I got badge after a 50 try i think, while doing that the frustration made me think about putting the mouse near the screen to a highness of the max jump, just to be sure, but in the end i just got lucky at 330m, height in which only 1 pattern is possible, luck based i think.
