In light of the win/lose situation being updated, I switched my rating to a 4/5...I was a little frustrated when I wrote my last comment.

I actually didn't find this difficult at all. For a game that has a 30 point badge when you beat it, it was relatively easy. I didn't bother with accuracy of my shots at all (average 55% each level) just shooting as much as possible as fast as possible. The more bullets on screen, the more likely things will die.

One of the most horrible games on here. I keep dieing on the last boss for absolutely no reason. I'll still have about 3-4 buildings left but I'll get a random "Game Over" message

I've died at least 3 times while I still had 2 buildings left, I also don't like how the shooting will just randomly stop sometimes. Would be a great game if it weren't for those points, but they're pretty huge deterrents.

What is this garbage? Terrible, terrible, terrible. Why is there a badge for this trash? It's like the developer heard about space invaders and missile command and created a mashup, but without playing either of the originals. Why is shooting so slow? Why was my game over?! Why are power ups random? Stupid, poorly done, and a bad reflection on Kongregate.

God, I hate this game!
Half of the time I dont know what I am doing, and plus the other half in wich I dont know what to do, this game does not exist!
When I die, I dont know what i did wrong...
Not to mention the load game, is a minigame too hard to do?
I am going to put it 1/5, by the mind twist it generates.

I have beaten the mothership like 10 times during the challenge now i cna't beat it, i should have gotten the badge like in new grounds rumble.

Too easy to 'gun spam' the playing field (hold mouse button down and spray), particularly on the tank levels where you don't run low on ammo. Completed first go.

I personally find the delay makes it so i spray like a mofo by moving my wiggling my mouse around.
...Then again, you made the game, so maybe I'm just playing it incorrectly.

It's too hard, it takes ages for a bullet to reach the top of the screen so you have to aim like miles away so you can actually hit them. which is hard in it's self.

this achievement should be worth 60 pts... i think pod is way harder than streamlines, and is the only badge i still dont have. i'm increasing my former rating on this game, because of the customizable keys (i hated those keys... i didnt get through it when it was a challenge). I would give 4 stars, but as i see ppl are giving terrible scores to it for no reason, i'm giving 5

I have played it, I saw "wider", and I think it is a bad game. Mostly, I dont know what I'm doing, or what I should do.

I think this game is horrible. I played it a couple times. I hate shooters like this though. If you've played Galaga - you have played them all.

Big secret to killing last boss: on the previous group of levels, take out the building suckers, they disable buildings, and the more buildings you have the next level, the more time you have. Let them accumulate while dealing with bombs etc, then wipe them out in one go before the building dies. Your priority is to conserve buildings, you can go for a high score afterwards. If squids are sucking on an almost dead building, you can leave them to it if it means stopping bombs doing more damage elsewhere.
For the boss itself, shoot the crap out of it. I just managed to do it with the normal gun, so no need to use special weapons. When the forcefield ships come out, shoot about a quarter of their length in front of them. A stream of shots a little longer than the distance from you to the mothership should be enough (don't shoot for too long, time is too important). Shoot the mother ship, but little ships take priority when they appear, get rid of them ASAP in a minimum of time

Carmac: You COULD shoot randomly... but where's the fun in that? I take great delight in taking down those damn UFOs without missing a single shot. Not that I do it often.

Looks nice but kind of boring, don't even really have to aim, just shoot randomly, easier when you have the 2 tanks, just mash A and shoot everywhere, beat the game on my first try without even trying to hard.

Meh. Bullets and enemies are too small, and it's hard to tell how to use powerups or what's happening to your city.
It's very pretty, though.

The music is brilliant. level 12 and 675175 is the best I could do. Too much clickings hurts. Love the game play, those colors and the aliens!

Got 600,000+ points on my second play through. The main thing is to focus on the bombs that the ships at the top of the screen are dropping. Take those out and you random firing will also take out enough other stuff that you should get through it.

Bizarrely, I got 567,000 on my very first try (got to level 13, too), even though this is really not my kind of game and I thought the directions were extremely confusing and too complicated.
