The only 'strategy' for to get brilliant on 14 is to just keep doing the whole level over and hope you 'get lucky' with an ice tower freezing the ninja on the last wave.

problem with this game is that only towers hitting stuff get xp. so oftentimes only the towers at the beginning of the path get xp while the rest is getting denied any upgrades.

That Moment When You Get The Wrong Item And Have To Redo The Entire Game Just To Get Something Else that Sucks Aswell?

To defeat the ninja boss in level 7 without him touching a gem you need to be level 8, putting all skill points in mana pool and meteor study+mastery.

The ninja champions NEED to be nerfed. Or at least replace them with something meanish such as assassins or paladins.

Always cheat. By that I mean, run the first two levels several times until you have reached lvl 3 and got six points to spend on your talents. Otherwise, it is no fun. ---
Spend the first five points on 320 mana pool and extra crypt charge. After that, max out 'Basic Training' so your crypts will get fear-effect more quickly. Always make sure that the crypts get as much XP as possible; don't build other towers in front of them if you can avoid it. ---
Keep investing skill points in the Demon tree to max out those meteors, or you won't be able to kill off Ninja Champions. Only after that, invest in the Orcs' tree to get extra gold for chopping down trees. Have fun!

I still can't understand if this was a late april fools joke because no sane person would make ninja champions as they are in the game.

my chilling crypt just killed me ... if this enemy wasnt scared, running another way i would have made it perfekt ....

Over 7 years old and still amazing. Only gripe always was the lack of skill reset, you really have to invest wisely if you want to start getting "brilliant" ratings asap. Tips: max (Orc) Cutout skills asap, then invest in (Undead) Mana Pool/Soul Vault, Demon Basic Training/Adoration. After that it's mostly whatever you feel like, but I like beefing up the spells (Damage over cost). P.S: Return Portal useless for Brilliant ratings.

Not sure why this game deletes saves so often. I have games I haven't played in 2 years with old savefiles but somehow this one always gets wiped. Oh well, still 5/5

Really like that game. I first played part 2 on Steam and searched for the 1st one. You can already see all good elements, but not as polished,as in part two. But already a good game!

it's pretty sad that you basically need to upgrade meteor shower all the way to get hard badge, had my upgrades mainly in orcs and undead so a lot of leveling for me

@Onca, there is (the fear crypt along with a skill in the undead tree). The problem is it will only affect them sometimes (though if you have the fear skill maxed it does pretty well). Sadly, the only other way to properly deal with them is raining fire on their heads.

Awesome game! just a few suggestions:
1. SOMETHING that can hit/unmask a hidden ninja
2. Terraforming - a way to convert one ground type to another (perhaps over 1/2mins?)
3. Skills table - a bit tedious reading/remembering each skill. Any way to make this more obvious/intuitive?
End game is tough, but don't change a thing - great feeling to complete!

I think Iriy Studios should get together with Ninja Kiwi to produce the next great Tower Defense game: Cursed Monkey: Don't Pop My Bloons!
