I send my normal units to die so I can train veteran units. I send them to attack strongholds. They capture the stronghold with one guy left...

When are you guys going to make a sequel? This is really a great game. Could do with some more backstory though. Like Matalito said.

Oh? Rush the enemy? Of course I totally have the unlimited resources required to both repel any attackers who may come at me without having to restart at all!

Love the game :) But a fast forward button could be usefull, and, like said in other comments, I don't really like the rushy goal, either. But apart from that: I LOVE IT! :D

My soldiers are just too goddamn stupid to live. It's the only reasonable explanation as to why they constantly circle their own buildings like puppy dogs, and are incapable of running away to fight another day. Clearly the kingdom is overpopulated and looking to shed the dead weight.

Why does it take 10 seconds for my units to enter a building they just conquered or just defended? Why do defending units leave the buildings in the first place?

Okay, the Giantbots are obviously 150% Overpowered. 1. They cost 120, that's NOTHING. 2. They RECOVER 4%HP/s that's at least as much as westaria soldiers with healing banner. 3. They are insanely powerful, they do most damage of all units in the game, and attack with the highest frequency in the game, they can take out two squads of every other unit in the game at ONCE 4. They only take one supply point.

5:20 My units destroyed the final stronghold. 5:25My units finished off the last stand of enemies. 5:35 m units finally made it into the castle. I HATE THIS GODDAMN STUPID AI! IT'S THE WORST AI I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE OF GAMING!

a very good and hooking game, but some already listed issues do piss me off enough not to rate it 5/5, so I just won't spoil the rating with 4/5 or lower

Why does the Crimson Hoard has many levels, when you'll start with a camp with 2 or rarely 3 plots, and two enemies with 2-3 forts and sometimes a camp/mage tower , both willing to deal with you before they would fight against each other, as even opponents...

Crimson Hoard level 8 is just a joke. They attack your weakest tower, all your troops lose half of their life as soon as they spawn, and it appears the Immortals don't believe in armor.

The Control of the original squads leaves a lot to be desired. Too many times have I ordered a group to move and one or more groups just simply stay behind while the others move forward to get slaughtered.

My approach to get all perfects went like this: 1) start with the hardest hitter that is most mobile - few levels give you cavalry-type units, so mostly its mage or archer type. If you can only buy one, usually rush the giant next to you and snap up the cash. The key is getting 2-3 units together and steamrolling. 2) Be on the offensive - only play defense when there is another party to help flank the enemy (not that often). On the level 8 stuff, realize you need two separate parties (again, 2-3 units for each party) to split and conquer. You'll rarely have time to fully restore a city, so just stay there long enough to health up and keep rolling. + if you like!

Bug: Level 7 Crimson Horde. (Pretty much all levels this can happen) Some myridons from the ice cult captured the town at the same time as I captured the ice castle. The game ended. It says I lost, but only the dark guys were defeated on the statistics (and for real)
