I wish I could pull weak units from a battle, bringing in more skill from micro, but you can't retreat when in battle.

The fifth horde battle really isn't hard, but seems to rely on very fast action. You have immediately send serpent archers to attack the Snowdale castle, using both banners to help them take it down before any enemy units are produced.

Problems with game:
1) Troops don't obey orders. I sent gun bot after enemy castle. It targets something else along the way
2) I cannot order troops to disengage battle. Enemy attacks my base and my troops decide to keep fighting ogre.
3) Controls are sometimes goofy making it hard to direct large groups
4) Game slows down to half speed during battles
5) Bugs. I once fought a tower with one enemy group protecting. I kill the protecting group in 3 seconds. Another one appears immediately. This happened ten times in a row before I realized it was bugging out.
6) No balance, and too easy to defeat. You shouldn't be ale to play the first level 10 times to get extra upgrades.

Game is acting very funny. The action freezes but the UI continues to work. Spells are able to chain cast. Not sure what's up with it. I can see myself producing gold and mana, enemy making troops. Nothing else. Has happened a couple of times now. Sometimes fixing itself. Right now Grand Transformation is chain casting from one push. Can't even use the UI right now.

Not being able to order your units away from combat is ridiculous. I consider this game unplayable until this is fixed.
The game should save automatically. Please check your browser and/or antivirus/antyspyware settings - it shouldn't be configured to delete temporary Internet files automatically.

I really really hate the engagement range on the troops and how you can't disengage. They won't even do what you tell them to. Attack Ogre.... ok, they attack the stupid town.

I really like the concept, but have to agree with many of the comments on here. In order to be a "strategy game," there should be more than one strategy involved. The only one presently is rushing.

Level for crimson horde 'Tame the Undead' is way too hard because both the necromancers and the snow people team up on you, and due to the fact that you only start with one town it's too hard

Way too easy, and that is despite all the problems with controls and ridiculous unit movement. I can't understand how it got such a high rating.

p for pause, o for options would be nice, along with some hot keys for troops like select all or once you have a tower or resource plot selected 1-4 could pick the unit/resource

And another game which would be greatly improved if i could just execute those units, that don't freaking obey my orders. Attack the tower - no, my ranged gunbots attack the castle instead. Move on, don't waste your time here, my other units already got this - no, the avatar joins the attack on an already weakened tower instead of moving his slow a** over where he is needed. *sighs* Strategy-games where units don't do EXACTLY as ordered are unplayable for me.

Really wish I could see the status effects that are currently affecting the troops when I mouse over them! I know the little emoticons are there but they are cryptic and too small to identify easily.

Great game I love it! But I could only give 4/5 because these problems:
First, when I send troops to capture tower or something they allways attack sleeping ogres on the way. If the ogre is awaken I understand this but in the first case it's annoying.
Second, when I order units to capture something and they successfully defeat the defenders I allways have to order them again to capture and rebuild it.
And one last problem. I don't know if it is an overall problem or just I have it but when I select multiple units and I try to give an order usually a selecting box appears and not the order.

LOL cataclysm should be reversed. It actually does great damage to YOUR building and troops while doing minimal damage to THEIR troops. nice job on this crappy spell devs

I would enjoy the game more if there were a goal other than just being fast. I want to capture each building, upgrade stuff and all that, but the challenge in this game is based around just rushing the stage. I like the game a lot and its a great start, but if the difficulty could be balanced so that you need to upgrade buildings to beat a level and no pressure to be fast (other than you opponents getting stronger if you are too slow), then I think it would be better. It would bring out the strategy a bit more too I think. Great work with this, and I really look forward to a sequel someday that adds more depth to all this.

This game is great, but I need more control over my troops, they always ignore orders, it's hard to select moving troops, and soldiers can't retreat from battle. I really like this game, but it almost feels unplayable for these frustrating reasons.

it's an ok game but i think it would help if it had that you could upgrade troops alone instead of buildings and the troops that come out of them. other than that it's a really good game HOORAY FOR TAKEOVER!!! :-)

Yeah no sense in building anything other than farms, and 90% of the time don't even bother repairing what you have captured, rush tactic is heavily emphasized, which I don't really like either (like askhere) The tax system mitigates the use of gold mines, so the one time boosts of capture and ogre's treasure chests carry you through the whole game with a rush strategy. Perfect on every map every campaign from bum-rush with cheap units (though I did like giantbots for icedales, only 20more gold) bonus starting gold for westaria and bonus capture gold for the horde were the best edicts.

small glitch, when i add a mine it sometimes wont add to the gold i get every second, for example if my town generates 2 gold per second and i have two mines (adds 4 gold per sec) it says it total i only generate 4 gold per second when i should have 6 per second

Game is great, but sometimes i'm trying to capture a castle or town, but no matter how many veteran soldiers or archers I have, the enemy always kill them, so I keep on resupplying troops, but I have no luck. Can you make the enemies a liitle bit weaker?
