Tips for later levels: Satellite is a must for vehicle hoards, get LOTS of repairmen. Get two maxed out rocket turrets and some gunmen. It makes it so that the small guys don't touch you and the big guys you can handle.

Press P and pause the game. Click around and you can still fire, but it does nothing. If you click the "PAUSE" in the middle, a bullet hole appears. I thought it was kind of interesting.

Following RangyRV's guide for the Hard Badge, a bit more thorough: Day 1: Make sure you get 800 dollar, else start over. Buy the Uzi. Following days, in this order: Buy 3 gunmen. Buy the S.C.A.R. Buy a repairman. Buy a Quake Box. Buy 2 Missle Turrets. Make sure you have upgraded your wall before day 17 (fuel truck does 100 damage). Buy Gunmen, repairmen and upgrades for your buildings. At Day 30 I had 40 gunmen, 10 repairmen, 400 HP, fully upgraded the Towers and some upgrades in the Old Glory. At Day 35, I doubled my troops, because I was scared of the Robots. At this point, a flock of tanks kills you faster then a big robot. I let one through and I lost 50 HP before it was killed by the gunmen and rockets. So focus primairy on the tanks. From here it is easy as long as you keep holding your mousebutton for the Old Glory. I started day 40 with fully upgraded: Old Glory, 2 Missle Turrets, 1 Quake Box. 600 HP, 100 Gunmen and 28 repairmen. From day 10 it was never a challenge.

Hard badge: 1. Get approx $700 at end of day1 (you seem to get more money if you hit guys while they're still farther back). 2. 3x gunmen. Concentrate on enemies further back, while your gunmen snipes the guys in front. Learn the rate at which your gunmen can fire to know how many men you can let through. 3. Save for shotgun, then upgrade its fire rate somewhat. Get 1x repairman when needed. 4. Quake tower. 5. 1x missile. 6. Upgrade your gunmen, wall, repairmen and shotgun somewhat. 6. 2nd missile. 7. Old Glory. Some of its upgrades. 8. Max wall. 20-50 gunmen. 20-40 repairmen. 9. Max turrets. 10. 50 gunmen, 40+ repair, max Old Glory. Plus if this helps.

hint for people trying to get the badge of the day on Zombocalypse mode.... use the shotgun and just click away while targeting and don't worry about letting it reload to full... you can shoot it as soon as it reloads one shot

There's a bug in Zombocalypse where sometimes the weapons does not switch to shotgun and you are stuck with just a pistol.

Needs a "restart day" button that takes you back to before your last purchases. Really sucks to experiment with a weapon or tower, find out it sucks, and lose all your progress.

Zombie badge is easy. Propably mistake of many people is they are just shooting randomly, if you aim every shoot and use shotgun in good moment then it's easy.

Remembering the Alamo Tactic: First thing you're gonna want is a couple gunners. After that, save up for a shotgun and 1 or 2 repairmen. Once you have the shotgun, FOCUS ON SHOOTING WHEN YOU CAN HIT AT LEAST 2 ENEMIES. You can upgrade the shotgun if you want, but don't focus on that, you're going to want around 60 riflemen, just like in the sparta achievement. Once you've gotten that, get a total of 8-10 repairmen, and make sure you have at least 300 health. From then, you can just sit back and relax, go make some tea until around wave 30. Get some laser turrets, upgrade them fully; buy the minigun (costs 30000) and upgrade it some. Don't even bother aiming, really, just fire into the large enemies until you run out of bullets, and repeat.

After finishing 40 waves on campaign on Normal, I seriously just let myself die on day 41, wanting my badge and to leave.
So why didn't I get it... :/

for hard badge: buy uzi after 1st round; buy gunmen until round 7 then buy 1 quake tower; from then on just buy gunmen/quake towers -- once your gunmen start costing a couple thousand each upgrade the quake towers. When you have extra cash upgrade wall HP to 300-500. After 50-60 gunmen buy repairmen -- once you get them to around 15 the health bar replenishes extremely fast. Then buy gunmen again. Late game (around level 30) I swapped a quake tower for the laser tower and fully upgraded it. Up to 30 you can pretty much AFK, but after 30 it starts to get intense. I had to buy the minigun and be very vigilant blowing up the suicide bombers/tanks/mechs. I ended up beating the 40th day with 115 gunmen, 33 repairmen, 2 quakes, 1 laser, 600 HP, and minigun with maxed accuracy/425 ammo. GL, its actually pretty easy until the last few waves.
