why doesnt the elevator go all the way up? wouldnt stairs make more sense if you can only ascend them one floor at a time?

Its a great concept for a game, but the feel of the controls makes it seem like you havn't even tested the game out yourself.

well...i mostly disagree with most of the comments, i say the game is great! However...i have to agree the wall jumping good be better and the controls are...terrible

How can people complain about wall jumping in this game? The timing is almost exactly like that of Mario 64. It was a pain when I first played through that game, but now it's completely intuitive. In general, I thought the controls were fine, but I understand people wanting the option to remap them.

i dont get it... how does lasers turn guys void and die??? fine die but turn into random colours. nad if they can teleport and change coulours y do they even need such large buildings?

This is a halfway decent game. The idea is great. The button scheme for color switching is annoying. Customizing controls would fix this problem. Also, it's subtle, but you need to go through and fix all the spelling errors. It is VERY annoying to those who notice such things.

yeeh, controls are really stupid, i spend too much time wondering which button to push.. at least there should be some sort of icon in the bottom right of the screen illustrating what j,k and s stand for.... well, one of many comments about the controls ;-)

I have muted the music and sfx, yet I can still hear some SFX like dying, ice shattering, fire. Really annoying since I listen to music while playing, please fix it.

Controls are counter intuitive. JKL is positioned reverse of what the wheel at the bottom shows. Add a scroll feature

Hmm... you're invulnerable while creating a portal. You can actually slide through lasers safely, and it's faster than cloaking and uncloaking.

How controls should have been: Arrow keys) movements; down) enter doors, use levers; S,D) Swap with precedent/following character colour; X,C) Use primary/secondary power.

I don't know why everyone thinks the controls are so bad... Sure, the wall jumping isn't perfect, but the rest is okay. Spinning the colour wheel by pressing Q and E would really be better, though. On the other hand, just clicking and then selecting from the menu barely takes any longer than pressing a key.
Apart from the controls, the game is simply awesome, I love the graphics and the level design is pretty good as well. The boss fights were way too easy, though, mainly because you could always make yourself invincible.

So... It double jumps when I want it to single jump, and doesn't jump when I need it to jump... Wall jumping is the most painful thing in this game, while the checkpoints are so few and far in between. I think the best part of this game is when I closed it.

The wall jump conditions are just aggravating for levels like 15 where wall jumping and missing pretty much means you have to completely start over. You have to hit the opposite wall to wall jump and that's kind of annoying, ESPECIALLY if you miss. I have many times missed and then started to fall, hit the opposite wall and tried to rebound back up only to pretty much fall and die. That's not challenging, that's just kinda dumb.

The idea is really good, but like so many others i hate it, that i can not customize the controls and the wall jumping.
I don`t get it. I jump at the wall ten times and only one jump works, it is so annoying...

It is tough enough when you randomly begin jumping. And the random sprints to the left or right add an extra challenge (I especially enough it when I press right and run left). But when I begin jumping AND sprinting off a high ledge after I have somehow completed 90% of a level... Kudos to Kongregate for rewarding it with badges. 1/5

so, after grinding through hellish wall jumps like in lvl 15, i finally beat this game. woot. overlord got easier and easier since the new abilities mean no more need to time things precisely, just stay stealthed until it shows up, place ice, restealth, burn, restealth, repeat. dont even need to move or jump

I like setting an ice block on a switch, then standing under the doorway and changing colors. When the gate comes down I fly across the level.

Look, I enjoyed the game when it came out, but I always have trouble with jump stick.
Please add the ability to either use the arrow keys or better yet, allow people to choose which keys do what. That way I'll have a decent shot at progressing. Thanks.

I have no idea what was going through their heads when they made up the control scheme, I guess they have extra digits on their hands, because I can't do it. I have no idea why the interact (go through door etc) key is r instead of e, maybe there is some super awesome power you get later on, but I won't ever find out about it, cause the controls make this game beyond difficult to play, not worth my time.

2/5 potential....however it got too repetitive too quickly....annoying lag randomly makes you not jump as high as you should or just forget to jump at all...lag also doesn't let you shift forms as quickly...it'd be nice if you could switch colors faster though i see where the no mistake allowed route for changing colors and platforming comes into play. The in between level select could be skipped all together, i started to get annoyed by it when i had to stop and save every 5 seconds. I got most of the crayons...but without a kong badge for it theres no point having a level select to get all the in game achieves lol...save the load time and drop the lvl select.

well... so, let me get this straight: we're in a nightmarishly- designed building full of traps (whos idea was that? some pissed off contracter? "hey, the CEO here is a jerk... let's make sure that everyone who enters the building is likely to die!!!") and equally full of monsters, and we use an elevator... to get to one floor at a time? wouldn't it make more sense to use the elevator to skyrocket to the top?or does roy get pleasure out of showing off his skills, and dieing numerous times?....super soldier my butt.

Level 17 is impossible for me to complete because of the sticy keys. There is a huge dead zone of the level where I cant change to blue because of the keys. 0/5 until its fixed!!

omfg, the first boss is way too difficult. i cant even beat him because anytime he does his glob attack that he shoots everywhere it always hits me before i can change to yellow >:(
