ok so the crstals can have more ally crstals than you can have plants... would be nice if they could only have as many crstals as you could have plants starts to get annoying after a while

nvm...I just beat everything on gold level by checking all the 3 stars for each level which also gives you silver. :)

Rather easy game. But since I'm a "casual player", I like it. I once spot a lack of AI from my plants : it stopped targeting a cristal that was about to be destroyed in order to target a new cristal that just appeared. This is a really good game nonetheless... just cap levels at 50 rather than 51, since the 3 last skill points can't be used on any improvement.

10/10 for an original concept but somehow it feels like its a little unpolished. It feels like it needs to either have a smoother learning curve so players can understand what is good tactics vs bad tactics because it felt like I was getting nowhere with no indication on what I was doing wrong.

I completed the game on the "normal" difficulty while completing the challenges, and then went back and beat every level for gold stars. I thought this would get me the hard badge, but it turned out I was missing one award. I clicked open the awards box to see what I was missing, and what was the last award?
"complete each stage three times"
...I'm sorry, but that's bull****. To get the award, I have to play through every level AGAIN, despite having done literally every possible thing in the game? I enjoyed this as a short, kind of simple time-waster, but not getting that award is leaving me with a sour taste in my mouth.

Except for the Special Challenge on the first two levels and as long as you evenly upgrade your skills and "charge" at the enemy with your plants completing the rest of the Special Challenges and levels in order is a breeze.

Well, you do stuff, and stuff happens. It's ok I suppose. But I dislike the customizable nature of the game... it'd be nice if the game's designer had made each level to be challenging in itself, but apparently it's my job to make the game challenging by farting around with experience points and level based options.

First time playing most levels you can get the challenge and beat it in under a minute. Is that supposed to happen o_o?

I finished the game with 31 unspent skill points. I wasn't sure what side of the "Heal Spell" and "Shield Spell" I needed to go up that would benefit me the most. So I just kept playing. And now the game is over. I guess I didn't need any of them! It's all good, still a good game that I can give a 5/5.

This game does teach people something too. It's not that plants can kill aliens, but plants do help earth a lot in many ways.

Great game. Easy enough to understand, but difficult to master ...though I think I helped myself out by taking forever to beat Mission 3, thus completing several achievements in one go.
One nitpick: Yet to bother with the defense spell; some sort of "make this plant grow faster" spell would have been more useful (especially for a newborn plant). Still got to get all the gold leaves, so might try it out of curiosity...

The "Play each stage at least 3 times achievement isn't firing for me. I played them all normally, then did all of the special challenges, then got all gold leafs, and even quickly went in and out of each level. I still don't have the final achievement for the hard badge.

A delightful twist on tower defence that focused more on strategy and had a rather interesting concept. Why we couldn't use the plants from plants vs zombies or use kinetic bombardment, I don't know, but it's still a novel concept. While a bit hard to strategize for new players, it's easy to get into and you should be able to rack up points for upgrades soon enough.
Good game.

Absolutely love this game! It's so playable and accessible. Real nice learning curve. I picked it up tonight and finished it tonight in only an hour! I think the different types of plants idea is great, and maybe instead of having to click the five different upgrades for the crystals to increase difficultly, just have different difficulty options. I really did wish this game was longer because it's so amazing I'd love to play more of it. I will most definitely be looking forward to any sequels of this game in the future! Hopefully there's more levels to prolong the awesomeness!
