Found a bug: During the blackout scene I was still trying to move around. I guess I shouldn't have though because once I got the flashlight my character was moving on his own towards the right, and won't stop moving to the right at all to the point where its now unplayable and I have to restart.

not sure what this games all about or what you're supposed to do to complete it, but I got all 49 pieces of sprite scat

4/5 Being required to obtain a set amount of the sprite droppings prior to the lights going out, within a time limit, without knowing. Just seems like a bad idea. That alone wasn't what made me vote 4, but the fact that playing through a second time to get all of them, I couldn't skip the dialogue or certain "scenes" Just made it a hassle. All in all, great game though!

There is a scene selection button at the menu so you can start at anytime and skip the intro when you go down the elevator and jump start into the game.

Yeah, I got 48 as well, even with picking up the first 10 before the blackout. Not sure where that last one is hiding.

Wouldn't have played this if it wasn't for the badge of the day, and I can't really say I enjoyed it. It has its good sides with the atmosphere, voice-over etc. but really, once you play through it for a second time to get all droppings, it's just a pain to wait for all unskipable cut-scenes and listen to all dialogue, and notice, this is on the _second_ time playing. If the game gets annoying that fast, it isn't good. It's a very short game though so after a failed first playthrough it's not that long before you get all droppings and can end the game within 5 mins. A weak 3/5.

@Mimmizer Don't worry, it's not that bad. Not unless you have a deep fear of being hunted while you're alone in the darkness, with only a flashlight to let you see while underground in a pitch-black cavern, sure that the creatures are just moving to be behind you constantly, always Juuuuust out of the light. Then getting stabbed.
Other than that, it's just a normal game, collecting sparkly things for no apparent reason.

"Ooh hey, it's midnight, let's see what the new Kongregate badge of the day is!" >"HORROR" tag
"Ooh hey lets do LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE."

More of an interactive fiction than a game, but it has intriguing story and quite good voicing. Despite few minor annoyances it deserves a high rating. Too bad it's so short and I can't see subsequent parts anywhere.

went from 5 to 2 for making me have to play through it all again to get stupid missing shards. Sorry but this is newbie and stupid. I played the game through once, and was cheated out of my badge. Dont' make me play through a game twice b/c of poor programmign or design.

i think its kind of cruel to put one of the last shines in the beginning cutscene with the tour group, because in games like these my first istincts are to explore as much as possible AWAY from the focus, which made me miss 1 shine which i couldn't get back :/ sucks, ill have too re-play it tomorrow
