Just reading the comments I see that no one knows what the hell is going on with the vampire. YOU ARE MAKING SURE HE IS TAKING CARE OF! Preventing him from coming back by staking, putting garlic in him, beheading him, etc...

come on! did anyone read the letter at the begining of the case of the vampire? "one false move will most likely be YOUR death"... i can only hope that no one under rated the game for that...

People, people. If you screw up in ANY WAY with the vampire, he wakes up and kills you. Period. It's not because he, the vampire (the "patient"), dies - rather because he wakes up, find you doing a ritual to kill him, and instead kills you before you kill him. Now stop whining, gawd.
