I like this game. I don't care how broken it is. It's just pure fun when you kill everything on screen with some "I don't even know how I did it" moves.

controls take way too long for you to stop moving, which almost always causes you to blow yourself up or run into a pit and die. would give 0/5 if it were possible.

On edit player I want different eyes so I clicked that there is 5 pages but there are no eyes on 5 pages there is only on 1 page.

Sometimes games deserve badges by dint of their quality. Sometimes developers just pay Kong to get badges. This is very clearly the latter, and not at all the former.

I really tried to play "it". Controls are worst i ever seen. This game created to play itself, but not for human players.

great mother of movement lag, this is the first game I encounter to have such a delay between the push of a button and the actual move, I mean come on, and that's not all, sometimes the character over-does it and ends up calmly walking off the platforms, like what?

Standing still, facing enemy: z...x...z...z...x no damage to enemy, all the sudden my guy flies half way across the screen and into pit

To beat the final campaign level, and a few of the others, the best method is just to run around and avoid being attacked until you get a 1-hit cheap kill weapon or a lucky opportunity. Shouldn't take you too many goes after you've worked out what each weapon does. Shame that that has to be the tactics, but it works =/

this game has good consept but unfortunately it isn't executed in best possible way. for instance the controls feel frustrating and slippery, just like kostyazz said this game is so much luck based, sometimes i feel that my character is more interested in killing himself than fighting enemies.
one problem that i have is with the level scaffold scuffle. i wish that level would show how many enemies do you need to still kill before the manager arrives. i know it says in the beginning that you need kill 5 enemies but in the game itself it's hard to know how many enemies you have killed expect if you have counted but in the heat of moment you don't really focus on that. timer in that level is also pretty merciless
lava palaver was another pretty problematic level but in there i noticed that it's better to just focus on jumping on the stones while avoiding the enemies than fight with them. i would also love to have some type of way to upgrade your character.

holws in the ground seem to pull you in. no matter what i do, i end up in a hole and losing life. also y/z is inverted for non-qwerty-users, even if i change the keyboard layout?! changing the layout works in other games. give is other control options or allow y/z to be switched.

Not a bad game altogether but the controls are not as responsive as they should be. It becomes way too easy to fall into a pit or beyond the screen on your own, not counting how easy it is for your enemies to do just that. Some random events (like the bombs in the pirate level) make it way too easy for you to lose in an instant, even if you had an advantage before. Most of the time it just seems to me like random x/z punching. Depending on your luck rather than your skill, it can be extremely easy or insanely difficult.

Well, it only took me 44 minutes and 11 seconds to beat all the campaign challenges according to the game. I did pretty well with the default character. That Rage attack of his where he smashes his fist on the ground helped in a lot of the challenges.

You guys who are whining about controls probably didn't play other z/x fighting games. This controls need some time to get used to, but they are OK. You can damage enemy with Z, push him back with X; jump + Z/X will knock out the enemy's weapon, while Z will damage him, and X push him. Also you can use a wind-up attacks with your fists, and swing horizontally pressing Z+X simultaneously, and also smth more... And you now say the contols are bad? Just try to understand them, don't pointlessly mash the keys! I give the game 4/5. It is awesome, original, there are a lot of _really_ different weapons, which can: burn, freeze, flatten, trap, blow up, knock back (with different strengh), desintegrate the enemy... But the game in total is a bit unbalanced, and sometimes frustratingly hard.

Well, the game is nice, but too much luck-based. There are several unreally strong weapons, like auto-rifles, shotgun, shoker, blaster, shurikens, and some others. They don't require much skill to be deadly and are practically undodgeable. If you get them - it's a couple of easy K.O., if enemy gets them - you'll suffer for a couple of deaths. Incredibly hard to play survival after completing the campain.

These developers must pay Kongregate to make their game a badge of the day. I cant even play the game as my left arrow key is busted and I cant customize controls.

how on earth is this badge of the day? controls feel horrible, and the final boss fight seems so hard.... ill be missing this shiny companion for sure

Gameplay is good, but playability is poor: you have no idea what you player actually do, hint here and there are not teaching anything valuable to the player, momentum of the hits is far too great and long to allow any real control on such small maps...
I am bit disappointed and a lot frustrated when playing this game. But the realisation seems good, so I give it a 2.

You have completed campaign mode! It took you 3 hours 14 minutes and 34 seconds. ... Not happy. I swear if I didn't need the BOD to get the shiny I would have stopped playing after 10 minutes.
