Game is impossible to complete if you can't avoid the sun. BAM! dead if it touches you. Also, what's the max for shield? I know 80 is the max for weapons, but what's the max for shield and engine?

+ this if you think enemies crashing into your ship is one of the more effective ways of destroying them! cause seriously whats the point of trying to aim and shoot them if they're that fast and your shield is uber?

The sun is actually pretty easy to dodge, don't look on the screen, look at the radar. You will see from from which direction the sun comes and where it goes, you simply drift away from it. No problem with Engine Power 1.

Things to put in. 1. make sun slower 2. reduce speed of sun;too fast 3.increase level cap for weapons,shields and make the speed of the engine noticeable or fix it

The f*cking sun keeps following me! - sun is too overpowered and too fast, it appears out of the blue and mows you down!!! I dont even have a chance to escape it!!!

why are people suggesting to put no points in engine?fine it is not as effective but what is the difference between say 120 shields and 100 shields when you can go faster and dodge the boss a little easier trust me it doesnt make a difference at that point if you had 120 instead of 100 anyway.80 max turret,get shield up to about 100 and give rest to engine.

I HATE THAT BOSS!!! took me forever to beat him, the fact that he instakills you or sometimes spawns right next to you doesn't help either. As for the game, ether war is a lot better than this utterly broken shooter.

Weapon max IS 80. You CAN upgrade it further, but it wont help anything. I beat it with 1 engine, lvl 80 weapon, and the rest in shield. In the beginning I started upgrading shield, and after lvl 50 shield, I started on weapon. I would say you should have a weapon level of 50-75 % of shield, untill you reach 80 ofcourse. For the boss: Just "go with it". Like .. Follow. That way, it'll be easier to evade, you shoot him more often etc. It's not that hard in my opinion.

+Innovative.
-Gun too short-ranged and inaccurate for fast ship/enemies.
-No "max upgrade" cap to prevent useless upgrading of weapon
-Engine upgrade made completely useless by already-fast game
-Boss has an insane amount of HP, no HP bar, and can kill you in one hit.
Would have been a 3/5 but for the boss, which makes it an instant 1/5. I'd give it a -2 if I could, though.

This game is very bad. But the badge is easy: Just don't upgrade you engine and you will finish the game on the first try. ;)

awesome. but I like the sequel more. no need to upgrade the engine. and for all who still haven't understood: the weapon does NOT get any better than the arc! and the "boss" thing in the end gets easy as soon as watch on your radar...
if you follow these (really easy) steps the game is no problem (=

omg did that sun just bleed!!!! Beat it with 30 engine, 101 shield, 80 wepons!!! its obvious squelchy911 is lying because you get a total of 211 ether not 210!!! Liar!!! Oh and for those people who have seen How To Train Your Dragon, the super blues(on lvl 15+) remind me of nightfury!So do the blacks!!! Highest score 23,846

all u guys that cant beat this game/ the boss, dont put any points into the engine, start by working on the sheild, then go even with gun/sheild, once you shoot the moon shaped thing, dont put any more points into gun, it doesnt get any better.

Personally great game, tho it's messing up my controls and I'm never going to play it again. Nevertheless if my mouse could handle it I would probably be happily splatting those gas things, also, if your thinking it's unfair how fast they are, this is their weakness. Your turret can change direction almost instentaneously while they still have to slow down making them easy targets, think once in a while people!

I find that as long as you don't waste ether on your engine, and pay attention to your radar when the wave begins, you should be relatively okay.

This is an awful game. The controls suck, your gun is way too slow to hit the fast moving enemies reliably, and you can instantly die before you even know what happened.
