F*cking Awesome!!! The Music is the best. Made me play this game twice till the end. Just to hear the cool music and see all the colourful sparkles!!! :-D

Great game it had a little bit of everything. An extensive storyline that sucks you in and won't let go. Edge of your seat suspense. And a romance that Twilight could only wish it had. Top it off with the perfect hero who get the girl, a villain that you love to hate, and the perfect comic-relief side kick that you can't help but love. All this in a 15-20 minute upgrade shooter.!

I could only wish for an auto-fire, even if its an upgrade instead of an option. Great lots-of-enemies-and-allies game. 5/5

Time Bonus? I don't think anyone would like to finish it as fast as he can. It was so amazing that i wanted to play it AS LONG AS I COULD.

I would agree strongly with a sequel with campaign mode. Add some variety to the baddies, a few more upgrades with maybe a nuke option, several different campaigns with different missions to save the galaxy and all of humanity!

i still think multiplayer versions of this would be awsome. just thinking of how hard it'd be in 6 player servers with 3 of these things revolving around one base with 12 defence guns but the 'motherstar' wouild have 6 revolving rings of 'supergiant (a slightly redder colored) ' red stars. each ring consisting 4-16 of these stars. and the upgrades progeress through constantly more condensed stars. [green, then red revolving, then shadow, then white...however they are still medium in size. then the colors restart and the stars become more compact BUT MUCH STRONGER. the ships would also have 12 upgrades for defence fighters starting out with the simple fighter and working their way up to longer ships like destroyers and battle cruisers.... please rate up the comment if you agree if it'd be a good idea :3

I think he should make another but with like 20 of the sun things and like 10 of those bases and one really large base. So instead of a war like this you get a HUGE WAR. It would last longer and a lot more action. Does anyone else agree?

am I playing on hard mode without realizing it? This game is impossible, yet I see comments saying how easy it is. How do I find easy mode?

I think everyone on board that space station would die of seizures from all the flashing lights of explosions outside.

the yellow orbs should give 5 for the outer ones 15 for the middle ones and 30 for the center ones
The outer ones are easier than the inner ones that's why the inner ones should be worth more
Like if you agree

so let me get this straight there is a evil sun and they are spaceships trying to destroy it when the sun is sending stuff to attack the space station and the sun is protected by deadly cores.

I personally never had good hand-eye-mouse coordination, so this type of game is next to impossible for me. I may give up on this BotD.

Completed badge of the day. Game was great, only one complaint... I wish there was more! Like many others have said, upgrade system is balanced, ether collect is fair (love that it is magnetic), enemy gets harder the longer you take. Overall great game.

A lot easier than it had first seemed, got it on my on my second try. Kept moving around between the station and the enemies to keep their focus on me. Didn't need more than one or two engine and shield upgrades until I started going after the big yellow orbiters for serious. Building up firepower (my own and my allies) was a must, of course.

i nearly go to end the game and accidentally open a website in this tab, and when i start playing the game again, it's come back to the beginning. need autosaves

Not bad, I just wish there were far less particles, even on Low Particles -as in: no particles. The final orb was way weaker than the golden ones, it seemed, but I had bought the 100 cannon just before attacking it.

The main issues i see in this idea of mine are- servers have to be able to support a LOT of players, and people may prefer a group 'vote' on what the upgrades are, instead of having a player be human commander or brood mother. I think it has potential as a multiplayer game, but that's just me.

Fantastic game dude, love it. I thought that the pacing of enemy increase vs self increase was good, the death was punishing but not game ending, and the AI were convincing, chasing the player as they got to the mothersthip, but prioritizing the base when they were close to it. Very well made.

I've replayed this game multiple times over through the years... it's a very multiplayer-friendly concept. Why it hasn't been looked into yet is a mystery. Broods vs Humans. It would be interesting to see a player that uses the gathered ether (human material for broods)- to upgrade the capabilities of the entire team, and based on the upgrade level, a certain amount of players can play as an upgraded ship (like the ally upgrades) the damage they do, the damage they take, etc. This would work for both teams, since broods also upgrade. Also, all the defending turrets could also be players that chose to take control as a defense turret. when that turret is destroyed, they then are forced into doing space battle as another ship or brood. .

Quite an entertaining game, but once you've got a couple of shield and engine boosts, if you start attacking their base, your shield will stop anything they fire at you, and all their units will attack you and not your base. Once that happens, there will be enough things flying in front of you and dying that you should get a steady stream of green ether, which should be more than enough to get a few cannon upgrade and the triple fire upgrade, by which point you should be sufficiently lethal to them that its only a matter of time before you achieve victory, certainly well before you reach any kind of cap on the upgrades, and if you're lucky and put a few upgrades into allies, you should never even take enough damage on your base to get any warning.

Good game. Do not focus on getting all upgrades before fighting the outer layer of suns or you will take hours to finish. Upgrade the cannon to max, upgrade the shield at least 3-max times, engine by at least 2-max times, allied units (optional, but can be useful in defending the space station while fighting the evil sun), then the upgrades that cost 120 Ether (also optional, but can be helpful). Start with outer layer of suns, then middle, then inner, then the evil red sun. 5/5 for not-to-easy and not-to-hard gameplay, and lots of upgrade options, also the spacebar pause button is great to pause when it lags to avoid drifting far away from the space station. The enemies are not too op, but also not too weak. Recommended to those who like space shooter games.

I absolutely love the style of this game, the intense game play, the challenge to adapt, the action-packed adventures of the box with cannon that obliterates colourful rotating hostile balls of whatever in spectacular firework-like explosions while flying at high-velocity in the void of space are always entertaining. even without mutch of a storyline :p

I really enjoyed playing this game.
the danger was there all the time....the battle system its just perfect.....The AI its finely balanced (because you can actually count on your teammates), maybe more upgrades? like base upgrades?
but overall 5/5 `cause I really enjoyed playing this, very VERY good game, should be one of the tops but well.....make aonther one ´cause this one its just perfect.
