I jumped out of my chair and almost screamed like a scared little girl first time I pressed down at a temple ... Please give a warning for people with heart issues (I'm not old, but I do have heart issues...)

If you want to find something... get the sparkle upgrade from one of the temples. Just stroll through and you'll find it eventually.

With 99 mushrooms I have searched every corner with no sight of the last mushroom. I think I'm starting to go insane, where could that last mushroom be?

Such a great game , good time-waster too. Even with my unlimited jump and ability to see important stuff , just can't find those goddamn last mushroom and that journal page . Spent at least an hour on this. GOOD GAME <3 ty for the belated christmas gift :3

haven't even started playing it yet, i just went "YESSSSSSSSssssssssssssssssssss" out loud when I saw this under hot new games. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooo!

I miss being able to jumb on the branches. I kinda also miss the wings too, just made the game that much more magical. But I still have the first game if I ever want to fly around as a fox.

Ditto on that last fairy way up there though I'm personally missing the fire ahmni myself. I'll just have to keep on digging.

I can't seem to find the last key I need. It is driving me a little insane and killing the relaxing aspect of the game
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
im stuck, i cant get the fairy at the top right, and i cant find the key to get the earth ahmni.
can someone help me?

I still should have voiced the journals. Would have added a lot more to the game, you know it! Not much I can really say, as I've said it all to you before, but such a good game. It deserves it.

This game is just pure bliss. The art is amazing, the music is relaxing, and... It just makes me happy and gives me this nice floating feeling.

Just wanted to say that I also got the sprite jump first and the rune stones last. Not sure what you could do about that at this point without delaying the game release, but I don't think it will matter much in the end. Great graphics and sound, btw, and very enjoyable overall.

I think it is a fantastic game (though I think it would be cool to use a tiger or panther as the main char :) ) I do miss being able to climb the trees and using the branches to help get to different places. It might also be neat to encounter a gnome here or there. The alternate endings might be a good idea to give another badge - one badge for completing the game, and one for finding all the different endings. 5/5

I also got the sprite jump first, and the runestones last. Though the sight should have been last, the jump just kept letting me find non-rune rocks to use my bombs on, and then I needed the sight to find the last bomb.
Haha, oooh the joys of non-linear gameplay. :3 I don't think it matters too much in the end, except the game might go more quickly for some. I assumed most people would get the runes first, since it's the easiest to do, but that won't be true for everyone...
EDIT: I added a game tip to help with the rune quest. Maybe that will help more people finish it first.

This game is great, it's nice and relaxing, but still maintains enough content to keep you playing through it. If this is how it is in beta, I can't wait to see what might be changed to make it better for the final release.

I definitely like that we're getting more backstory into the little fox and his friend. Only thing... the easiest thing to get is the sprite jump, which kind of... well it doesn't really break the game, but is the most beneficial anyways. Seems a bit weird that we get the most powerful thing first.

I guess my first shot was during a time when my computer wasn't in a very good mood. After another try, I found the framerate-to-graphics ratio is quite amazing. I like it! Though... with the prayer place, were you intending it to seem that creepy? Because it really is rather creepy...

After reading Babldingldoo's comment I checked my save cache and its at 10MB with 1.5 used, so that shouldn't be an issue. The framerate drop is never really considerable, but it is noticeable, and it is as you say always when you walk on a special tile that it really jitters, but it doesn't really take away too much from the game's immersion. All things considered, if you can't find a way to smooth it out, don't worry too much as it isn't that much of a problem, I still think the game is in brilliant condition.

For anyone who was a fan of the first William and Sly game, this is a wonderfully familiar game, but the progress that has been made is astounding. The graphics are gorgeous, and not as resource-intensive as I would have expected. The audio is fantastic as well, and it's very nice that you included a mute button, but I cannot fathom why anyone would want to use it. Bravo.

My game isn't lagging, then again my computer pretty new. The game asked me for 1MB of local storage, so that might be causing the lag for others if they don't have it at 1MB. Right click and check your Settings to see how much you're allowing.

Also, after finishing the game, I recognise how there could be multiple endings, but 95% of people will most likely do every single thing before either collecting all the journal pages or handing them in in the first place, so not sure if the other endings, however small, really add much to the game. Though I suppose you can also argue that there's no point NOT having them there :P
Haha, the little madlibs thing at the end is just for fun, really. :3 The game is pretty weak on replay value, but that's okay, I think, since it's a small flash game.

I love the game itself as I loved the original, the backstory gives it a flair that makes it different enough from the first game.
Lancer does have a point though, if there is a way to improve the framerate, then it should be done. I'm running a fairly good system (Quad Core 2.8ghz processor, 4gig ram, 5700 series ATI graphics card), and the framerate noticeably drops fairly often, so low end systems, which are a fair amount of people on kong, may suffer considerably.
Yeah I think that's related to the Kong API. Is it specifically when you hit a special tile, like item or sign, etc.? I can probably fix that pretty easily. EDIT: This has been fixed! :D

Since this is still in beta, I should comment on what is wrong or broken, and not what I think of the game in general. But... I can't find anything really. Makes me curious why the game needs a beta.
The fox's jumps are instant, and with the animation looks like some unknown force is pushing him upwards, but I'm assuming that was intentional (that and with the pixies latter on, it makes sence).
The main background never moves, but again that's just picky stuff and doesn't effect the gameplay.
The game is much easier than the last, since onch you get the item glow there are no more secrets or surprises. Not getting all the mushrooms at that point would be sheer lazyness.
It would have been neet to see what the gnomes actually looked like. but I'm not sure where that would fit in.
I did the music. :) I'm thinking about selling it on Amazon, actually. I'll probably add a link in the game. EDIT: Just kidding! Apparently it takes 15 days for a song to be approved on Amazon... -_- I'll just post a DL link. DOUBLE EDIT: Go to my blog for the music!!

Looks cool, but it does seem that the framerate has been forgotten while you focused on the graphics. Most flash gamers don't have really high-end computers, after all.
I don't either. :3 I develop on a five year old Toshiba laptop with <1mb of ram, so it should run fine on most machines.
Is the framerate dropping when you hit a "special" tile, like a sign or a secret cave or item? I was having that problem too after I added the Kongregate API. I think I need to do the stat reporting differently...
