This game is impossible on a slow computer. Especially with a cat on the computer table. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game. These are more of my own problems.
We can't do much for the cat but have a version that should perform well on the slowest of computers, understand that doesn't do much for you right now but should give you something to look forward to!

great, I was reading all the comments and thought to myself: sounds like fun! actually it is fun...but did anybody try to press "Down" to slow down? Right, you do a face plant. every time. funny the first time, but why include a suicide button?

I'm a fan of the free rider games, but I think this one isn't as good. Before I used to spend my time making fun tracks and trying the different vehicles on them, but now I only have bikes, and with the bikes the wheels always try to leave the ground so I can barely survive on flat ground. This game isn't bad but I think Free Rider 2 was better.
Based on some of the initial feedback we added the track editor to Free Rider 3, if you have any more feedback for us let us know! As for the additional vehicles, over 95% of the tracks created were with bikes, if there is demand for new vehicles or ones from FR2 to be re-added we will consider it.

why should i have to make an account on another game website to save the track i have made. this is a terrible way to make people go to your website.
Creating / displaying a track database from within a distributable flash game had some limitations as well as technical issues. The official track listing for FR3 is on Kano Games as well as saved replays and best time trials. We do have a Free Rider version in development that will be re-written in HTML5 and will make its way to Kongregate with more features over this version.

We Ride Together, We Die Together. FR3 4 Lif3!
I'm not sure how Free Rider 3 skills translate to a real bike, I will report back soon. Something tells me this is going to go well...

Everyone, + this comment up if you want the old vehicles back. They have responded to me saying "if there is demand for new vehicles or ones from FR2 to be re-added we will consider it." So if you want more vehicles comment or + this comment up.

I wouldn't necessarily say this one is worse than Free Rider 2. The main issue about this one is the lack of vehicles (but you said you'd make more if there was enough demand). I also miss being able to make my own map on the game, not on another tab. Other than that, I think the improvements are great! I'm glad we can finally be able to browse through other people's maps with ease.
We made several changes from FR2: increased size of game canvas, improved performance, player saved replays, time trials and most importantly we have a dev team behind the game!

I said nothing about time travel or the previous Free Rider games. It is this particular Free Rider that so resembles Happy Wheels.

No matter what I do, on most tracks the bike behaves totally unnatural almost all the time my bike spasm out and I fall through the track. I don't find it enjoyable at all, compared to FR2 this is rubbish. Looks like no one actually tested the bike behavior.
Just like in FR2, if you don't have enough speed / momentum going over areas with gravity you can get sucked through the ground! What tracks were you getting sucked through the ground and were you going full speed? The physics is exactly the same as FR2.

The arrow keys seem to stick a lot, don't know if that's my fault but awesome feature to have pre-made tracks right there in the menu though!

terrible sequel. first off, the zoom feature doesn't affect the gameplay at all, as when you zoom out, it automatically zooms back in right when commence going again. there aren't as wide of a variety of vehicles anymore. you have to make a new account on another website to submit your maps. the brake is too fine to even slow down without faceplanting, also, it's impossible to do wheelies. 2/5
Thanks for taking the time to play FR3 and for the feedback! Steady Cam is off by default, you can turn it on by 'C' or clicking camera icon and will remain persistent and you are free to zoom till your heart is content, does that resolve your zoom issue? The truth is that less than 5% of track authors were creating tracks with vehicles other than BMX/MTB, as we have said previously if there is demand for it we will consider adding back into the track creator for players to mess around with but as far as serious tracks with non-bike vehicles we haven't seen a huge demand. Braking does take some time to get used to but not many people actually brake in the game, what tracks were you trying to brake on? Also, difficult to do wheelies yes, impossible no, check out @BlazingFastBob riding Unstopable http://www.kanogames.com/free-rider-3/track/1842-unstopable/race/1013132

What happened to this game where is all the vehicles the second one was 100 times better than this i would play free rider 2 for a minute instead of playing this for 10 minuets just terrible *facepalm

Good thing Pewdiepie doesn't play this game. He sucks completely and if any of you are a fan of him, go f*ck yourself.

Well dragonboyjake, they are extremely smooth jumps, just not smooth landings, didn't you read the description of that level?

I'm a fan of the free rider games, but what happened to all the vehicle choices? Those were perhaps the most fun part of the game. I also seem to have a problem with the change direction command, it only does it when it wants to. I don't know if it's just me, or if everyone has this problem. i'm just saying you might wanna check it out.

On the first level right after the big hill there's this invisible wall that just slams me down through the track... This game had a lot of potential, really it did, but it's ruined early on when you can't get past the first level because of a glitch.
We will switch out that track today with a different one, we added a couple new ones yesterday. What is happening on that track is if you do not have enough speed going over the gravity you can get sucked through the track, the author that created that track placed too many gravity boosts in certain sections, comes with the joy of player created tracks!

This is a very nice game, but it seems unpolished. I can usually only spend 5 minutes on it because the lack of soundtrack makes it feel empty, and there are lots of missing features here that other similar games had.
Staying true to Free Rider we didn't want to add music, etc that could take away from the experience, we find players usually enjoy rocking out to their own tunes more.
We are looking into add some bike sounds into a future version though, would that be something you would like to see/hear?
As for the missing features, can you be more specific? We loaded FR3 up with new features: saved replays, best times to race against others and updates to track editor are just a few of the many new features. We plan to add checkpoints to this version and will look to start tackling that this week.
Thanks for the feedback.

Has anyone ever tried Canvas Rider? Sure, tis game looks better, but performance wise, the gravity is too high, the bikes aren't sturdy enough (if you tap left or right when you're going really fast, you fly off like a bomb just exploded), and when you fall, for some reason, you zoom across the ground for a very short distance and then stop. Personally, I enjoyed the ragdoll-esque body to this unrealistic animation you have in Free Rider 3. Don't get me wrong, I love the graphics better in this game, and the clean layout reminds me of Windows 8 (a good thing!), but there aren't enough pros to balance out the cons. I definitely preferred your franchise for the various vehicles, but those have disappeared in this game. I think that when you started the game, you took a step in the right direction, but when you finished, you took two backwards. You're almost there, but you just need to take a couple tips from Canvas Rider! Thanks, best wishes, you have a game full of potential here!
Well many would argue the unicycle in FR2 is the most unsteady bike they have ever seen! The BMX is a little tricky to get the hang of, did you try one of the tracks that use the Mountain Bike "MTB"?

I hope the developer reads this: We need more vehicles like in Free Rider 2, I understand most of the tracks were created for Bikes, but still, it was always fun to play with the other vehicles! You guys should add all the Free Rider 2's vehicles and try to put some more. It would be awesome! Well, I know it may be hard for you guys to do this, but if you can, so please do!
Thanks for the feedback! For FR3 we increased the size of the window, made some performance improvements over FR2, player saved replays, saved time trials and improved the editor. We do have a new version in HTML5 that we plan to release to Kong later this year that will bring more functionality but shhhh don't tell anyone its top secret!

Love the game, but i think the right and left tilt buttons are too sensitive, throwing you out of control if you hole it more than a few milliseconds, so nearly impossible to orient a difficult landing

I made maps with a majority of the vehicles in FR2, I think having the FR2 vehicles and maybe some more vehicles like a Wheelchair, Motorcycle, Plane, a more blobular blob, maybe even a person on there feet for Parkour/freerunning maps.
