They hardly chase free players away. Radiance can be farmed in-game and you don't have to spend any real money to get anything in this game (free player with almost every immortal unlocked btw). Moreover the starting characters are just fine and are still quite good and worth using even once you have all of the classes unlocked.

All the starting heroes that aren't retarded are locked and you have to pay real life money to be them.
No starting hero that a free player can use looks cool or interesting in any way, shape or form.
I rate this game 1 out of 5 stars for being so greedy they chase free players away with dumb looking starter characters that you are locked to forever.

Such a great game! It's really fun to play, the pixel art is wonderful, the music is very fitting and nice to listen to, the character voices still dosen't irritate me one bit, and it has a realy nice nostalgic feeling about it. I wish I had found this game sooner, but I'm happy to have found it at all. Oh! and it has a prety good story, which is a rare breed around these parts.

Is there an update going on or am I just having some glitch causing the connection to fail whenever I try to play? (this has been ongoing for the past 2 days but it was working fine a few days before that)

could you increase the lvl limit? 60 is a little low for my preferences =D

one thing that would be nice is when we hit tab to switch to next character the screen does not auto-center and I have to search the map for that character anyhow... please add some way to auto center the map.

After the big update, it's probably best to update little bits at a time. That way there will often be something new, even just something little, to come back to. That might lead to longer interest in the game.

Excellent game, it's been quite awhile since I got to the current end of the campaign, but I'm still looking forward to more. It has a real storyline which is rare for games on here (also it's a good tactical rpg in terms of the game play) 5+/5.
Just finished writing the rest of the storyline, new game mode is done, new immortals are in there, new item types. Still need some more graphics, music, sfx. It's a huge patch, will be worth it :)

It is a shame.. I used to play this when 100s people people played it. Now I am alone in the chat menu. So sad.. such a good game.

Excellent game, but i wonder why there are only a few people playing it. Where can you find the cooldown time of the different skills?

Dev - I've been the only one in the chat room for quite some time. Perhaps since no one plays it might be a fair idea to do away with the things that do cost money (even though you can earn enough in game) just to open it up? I mean, I have doubts anyone will BUY into a game that is so lonely.
