yup, I can confidently say that the horseman sucks and the sorceress is op.
Also, might I say, it can be REALLY annoying to get extra units sometimes.

the mage never gets defeted but the knight allways dies and the warrior mostly dies!needs update because the knight dies alot!+ so creater can see(not that he reads them)!

Games with such blatant bugs and issues shouldn`t receive batches. While tastes in genre may differ and thus I would never mind games I`ll probably hate while others love them get badged, programming execution should be a criteria. Because bugs, dead ends or severe lag or memory leak issues are hated by everyone equally and we shouldn`t be forced to play these kind of games for the badges.

Its a good game but i've been playing it so long i just end up praying for it to be over. If you read the story it teases you, as if to say this battle might be the last but it never is.

Just to point out what is probably a bug, you can only find certain kinds of weapons but not many types that are available in the store. For example, you must buy an axe or mace. I suspect that was not the developer's intent.

you know, i would think by the time it was 7825, they would have guns, and lasers and nukes and stuff. instead, you get swords, maces, bows and arrows, and mages.

7 normal chests 3 gold chests all lvl 4 gaurd spots filled.. I think all my luck just went into stage 9 .... my guards were so strong the enemys died as they appeared! hmmm although that is a bad thing since WHY DOESN"T GUARD EXP GO TO THE HERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I'm sure you've gleaned from hundreds of comments, the Horseman character is severely bugged, making it extremely hard to beat levels on the first try, and forcing players to grind for money to buy the latest items at the store.
Which brings me to the money system. In short, give me more money for selling things. 20 levels is not enough to validate needing thousands of gold to buy something that sells for 400. Half price would be nice, especially seeing as after a level you usually have enough to buy one thing, if you sell all your treasure that is.
Not a bad game, but if you could finish it and iron out some of these pretty major bugs, It would be worlds better.

Also nice to know a DRAGON can punch THROUGH your Heroes, thus effectively destroying your walls, giving you no victory rating whatsoever, thus forcing you to do the level all over again. Catapults, I can understand because they explode, but last I checked, human beings were physically solid, and thus can not be physically punched THROUGH to hit something BEHIND them.

When a Hero dies there is a number on their portrait. You have to clear that number of blocks of that Hero's color to revive them. It has nothing to do with getting a 4 or 5 combo only in that it adds to the counter.

These heroes need some serious teamwork. Neither them nor their guards are willing to attack monsters in other heroes' lanes.

Easily the most important skill to have is Recovering HP Every X Seconds. Since it is difficult to keep your heroes' health up as their levels get higher, HP Gain becomes a necessity. Good luck!

This is an interesting take for a game. Good game play, nice music, and not to bad graphics makes this one a good time waster. Simple but effective use of rpg elements combine with a shop, and multiple maps.

Wouldn't it be sensible to make the mage a DPSer (low health, high damage), the horseman a tank and the swordsman an offtank (medium health, medium damage)?

I've just realized that the leveling stat proplem has nothing to do with the particular character but if the character is has an lower or higher level than the other characters. I started out with my mage having an higher level and thereby getting more stats. Now my mage is one level lower than the other two characters and she consistantly get's no stats. If someone get's -3 hp as stats I am guessing that that particular character is more than one level behind the other characters, and if one character gets heaps of stat bonuses that the charater has a much higher level than your other characters. So if you want all your characters to gain stats you have to keep them all at exactly the same level.

If your Horseman dies mid-charge and you revive him, he goes charging off the screen. And never comes back.
I think the devs really hated this horseman.

Maybe an upgrade system would remedy the boredom that sets in after a couple of fights. Let's say you collect points, which you can spend on your heroes, or on the strength / duration of their special skills, or on the strength of the different tiles (for example: how much HP you gain from a match, how much money you get from 3 yellow buildings, ...) this way, people can choose their own path a little more. other ideas: include more possibilites to shuffle the board, like a bomb or adding an explosive effect to a 5-match.

Sorceress is op, swordsman ok, horseman... after 7 levelups not one stat increased, he always kills most enemies, does least damage, gets less levels than the other two. Thank goodness, the dev fixes balance ... uhm, no, he doesn't ;(

If you're having trouble with the hard badge, just keep re-doing levels and getting higher ratings. It'll click randomly.

Its a horrible feeling to have half a million gold and the store never updates to better stuff for you to buy. Cant give it away and cant spend it.

Not sure if anyone else asked for this but, it would be neat if the achievements gave you a little bit of XP, gold or something else making it worth getting them.

@charzard279 Actually it's not just a 4 or 5. Your hero is still healed with 3s too. You just have to keep healing them and after you get so many points back to them they revive.

The thing I liked about the game was that eventually I was allowed to get a shield for all three of my characters, so they could block some damage and keep me alive. What annoyed me the most (other than those stupid catapults) was that after a certain level was reached they no longer allowed us to buy rods for the mage. As if I'm so happy that she can use a sword and a flaming attack that I no longer want to use the rod. The rod is her RANGED attack! Why the hell would I want to give her a sword? She can hit the monsters from a DISTANCE and kill them before they get to her! It's stupid to make it so you can't acquire anymore rods. If you ever make another one, fix that.

This is a great game, but it isn't color-blind friendly at all. I love playing it but the red and orange are hard for me to tell apart and it gives me a headache to play. :/ But I suffer through!

The levels are very long, and I had question about the Knight (horseman): do I have a glitch, or is he actually gaining 0 each level? The last five levels he's gained said +0 to all stats.

I agree that the lack of stat upgrades the horseman has is a major flaw... becomes more a game of keeping him alive. I need more green tents!

Horseman healing tiles (the green tent) doesn't appear enough, he always dies because there's never enough to match them.
