YOU MISSED A STEP OUT!! you need to make an EnemyMissile movieclip first. for everyone who is stuck here, download the source thingy, go into library and find EnemyMissile movieclip. copy it like with the explosion clip and paste into your library.

now it says this: EnemyMissle.as, Line 1 The class 'EnemyShip' needs to be defined in a file whose relative path is 'EnemyShip.as'.

the problem is my missiles through enemy
and the reason is 1.) i forgot var enemy that made enemies.push(enemy) no property
2.) i forgot change the new ship instance name in all .as file
think most ppl have same problem as i

Hello? im having a problem. you see, the source files are not working. it says" unexpected file format.". can anyone help me?
PS. im using macromedia flash 8 oh, and to those comments that say they cant download the files, right-click on the link and select open in new window. it will open then close then it will start downloading.

I haver the same problem as Night warrior, I got past the other problem but there is no explosion.png just the actionscript file.

Got up to page 4, tested it, and nothing worked... at all, I couldn't move my ship, fire and there was no enemies. This was all after I put in the line of code to do the explode function. Help please....

i put in a instance name in for ship.then publish the ship will not move and the enemys dont show up. anyone have this problem help

It's all easy! All you need is advanced attention-paying skills, if something is wrong, just undo 12% of your work, and do-over what it says but pay more attention, 90% of all problems caused is when you forget one tiny line..

I don't know if anyone can help me out but, I'm getting this in my output

This is probably an infinite loop.

I assume it's coming from the missile because it pops that up as soon as the missile hits an enemy ship.
