i love this game
and to answer some q's
1. To prevent steam leaks use a cap
2. To do the 1st lvl make a switch beetween forward and back and mak a saw on both sides
with a start steam going to each.
3. To do the 2nd lvl make a switch beetween forward and crouch (the pipe on the right of the movement) make a jackhammer on left and saw on right make a switcher and set the pressure to 50 and connect it to the left steam. DONT connect it to anything else and make the right steam conect to the switch and the saw.

Ok this seems like a cool game and i would love to get past level one but unfortunately im to retarded if someone could please give me tips to start me off id appreciate it :P

I'm sorry, I've got to score low. I can understand the whole "figure it out yourself" deal. But after nearly an hour all I've accomplished is giving myself a headache. I won't claim to be the smartest around but I'm pretty quick when it comes to games as well as mechanics and this just doesn't add up on either end. =/

people its simple as hell. I dont get why so many people want a tutorial! play around with it its forgiving! they wanted you to test with everything so you would understand it not just: Oh here it is derp gonna build it just like this.

Awesome game... nice to see something different in the way of game concept. I would agree that the game needs a clear button for when you want to redesign from scratch, but other than that, 5 stars!

I absolutely love this game. One of the best games on Kong, actually one of the best games period. It's hard, sure, but it's not fake difficulty, and there's no budget limits like you see in so many of these games.

Has anyone else noticed that it's impossible to actually HIT the fourth steam-bot while it's moving using the cannon? This is a PROBLEM!

how to make a cannon work: first, make one of the steam generators conected to the cannon, make sure you put a fuse pipe with 60 configuration, then, put an joint connector, this will be the cooling system, make a pipe out of that joint conector, and put a lot others join conectors instead of 1 block pipe, but stream vent instead of end caps, and there is it, when the fuse pipe activates, the cannon will shot, and the vents will draw the remaining steam, reloading it, thumbs up if this helped!

a tip for all you people having toruble, if your ranged weapons fire at the same time, the game lags and only one of them hits. Stagger your shots for max dps

refined my rifleman dred to kill all 4 enemies. Left engine: Branched pipe, one leading to a tank, pressure valve (60) the other looping around to the reload. Right engine, identical except for on the top elbow of the reload pipe you put the control valve, left hand side is capped, right hand goes to the kneel. Beats every single dread (including the atlanta, which i consider to be the hardest)

While I agree that there should be a Tutorial for the various weapons, I found myself using a different design for each of the levels so a "design save option" wouldn't be that useful in my opinion. Pretty good game overall though.

Once you figure out the weapons this game is awesome. Btw a "rifleman" mech will destroy most of these levels. Build a dred that has a branching pathway out of one of the engines that leads to a holding tank (each) and a 60 psi valve on the other side leading to the firing pipe of the rifle. Out of the other engine build to the switch and have one side of the switch kneel and the other going to both reloading pipes of the rifles. 3 volleys will kill all of them

BTW, the controller pipe is on left when steam is off, and on right when steam is on. FYI. btw Level 1 is hard. I quitted ^^

Not bad once you figure out how to make the silly weapons work.
HINT: Use more than one steam vent on the cannon, put them between a 60 psi valve and the cannon itself. This lets it bleed off pressure and reload while pressure builds up for another shot on the other side of the valve.
I'm still not sure exactly how the stupid switcher valve works... behavior seems to be erratic at best. =P

im thirteen and i beat this game within an hour when i was 10. 10! If you look at the descriptions of each peice, it almost acts as its own tutorial. I you don't like the game then just quit!!

God I hate wasting pressure of an entire boiler powering the crouch mechanism... would be useful to have some sort of pressure distributor. Although since it is difficult to understand the game at first as is, I see how extra pieces can confuse people further.

ugn cmon people its really easy to learn this stuff all except for the rifle and the cannon(idk how to use the cannon but i do fine enough). BUT since i know that people want to know how to use the rifle I will post the instructions, LOOK NO FURTHER FOR THE RIFLE IS HERE! First combine the 2 steam if you dont need else. Use a switch 2 squares right of the bottom pipe of the rifle. Connect the switch to the bottom hole to a compression spring (if you put it upside down dont worry the game will forgive you) and modify the spring to 30 or higher if you want to actually shoot anything. Then on the other side of the switch attach a pipe turning to enter the top one. This one is your reload. Then to fight hold down for a few seconds to fire then push up to reload after each fire. If you and the rest of the people want to know then plus this thing. Maybe if it gets on the top ranks ill add cannon and else.
