Don't you just like it when you just barely entered a room and out of no where mobs forced you to fight them (not bosses, or aggressive enemies though but an out of nowhere "you have to fight me because you accidentally ran into me because i say so" type of thing)oh well '-'

I keep on seeing these badges coming up in-game ('stuffed' was my last one). It would be great if I knew where I could view the badges I have accumulated (and perhaps get hints on the ones I have yet to get). Call me dense but I do not see this in either the help or any of the menus. Some help please?

Some status effect icons are difficult to see on some backgrounds and they are can be obscured by enemy graphics in some cases.

I've watched the linked video of the author beating the expert zombie defense, but it didn't give me any insight on how I could reproduce his results, and insight is precisely what we need. The author/creator knows the value system and specific mechanics of the game, and without that information, beating it on expert level is an exercise in futility.

I'd like to be able to see how many of a consumable item I have when buying them in the shop...that way I don't overbuy, et cetera.

really nice game, but there are i think a few things missing. one, a description of the classes, esp. what stats they need and their weaknesses so i can properly prepare my heros, otherwise im blindly making that one guy a fighter, when i dont know what a fighter needs, also you need to add what each element is strong/weak against, and what elements monsters are, ill update anything else i notice lacking, oh and by the way is it a bug that all the monsters dissapear after i battle one?

Only thing I found really annoying is that not all status effects are shown with a symbol, for example regen status. Can you fix that?

Is the Queen Slime's definition on the wanted list a reference to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody? If so... awesome... if not... awesome coincidence.

wow great game gave u perfect 5/5 and i think you could make this game into a great ds/3ds, wii or arcade game for XBOX live. maybe you could ask the newgrounds team to help make it to onto a console like they did with alien hominid/castle crashers/meatboy i bet it woul be a smash just like one of those

oh, there's an inventory cap. selling stuff needs to be easier then. currently it's one-at-a-time and each time you sell an item the list goes back to page 1. This is really frustrating. I have 10 pages of weapons and not even a sort ability. it's taking quite a long time and a lot of effort to sell (most everything else about this game is great!)

RPGs have been my favorite genre, especially ones where you can play mini games (and as often as you like) to take a break from the main story and mix it up a bit without feeling repetitive.

They don't actually die, they just get knocked out. The "revive" is a feather because they wake them back up by tickling them. It is a one time use item because they get mad at being awoken in such a manner and break the feather.

When you still play the game, even though you finished it, just to try to max out your characters.... I'm not alone, am I? XD

Bored after a few floors. What keeps JRPGs interesting is story and characters. Otherwise it's just a battle system that gets stale.

Starting scene "This is a story". Please don't tell me I wasn't the only one that thought "all about how my life got flipped-turned upside down".

This game looks really nice and was enjoyable to play. To be perfectly honest, I find the sequel to be much more fun, but that doesn't make this one bad. You clearly put hours upon hours of effort into both of 'em, and I'm thankful to play such fun games.

Well, that's annoying. I saved the game. I didn't clear my browser cache - just left the page. When I came back, my save was gone.

The town was Tristram, not Tristam. Whoever made this played Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest for the SNES, because the party names are all the different companions for the main character in that game. (Yes, the party size limit in it was 2. It was still good.)

I get lots of medals but can't seem to find a way to check which ones I've earned. Other than this small issue I think this is an amazing game especially to be just a linear RPG flash game, simple yet eloquent :) Big thanks to its creator and hope to see them coming. Also played the second game and it ended up being even better

Crystal Story may be an old game, but it still has the good kicks in the story lines, even in the side quests. All the characters have expressive personalities regardless how major their roles play, the battle stats are fair, and Reuben still deserves those cat scratches. Seriously, Mr. Dangerous, stop wasting my revives.

If you want to check your achievements, play the game on Newgrounds. They sponsored this game, so the in-game achievements were implemented with that site in mind.

Another thing I wanted to ask is why doesn't the bestiary cover all the monsters? I encountered one rare monster that gave me a medal upon killing it, it looked like a purple guitar, and I didn't see it listed in the bestiary at all.

1. no auto save. 2. the super low mp makes mana class (read: mage and priest) rely too much on items. 3. i wish that the battle animation can be faster.. 4. keyboard button (wasd or arrow keys) instead of mouse click to move would be nice. 5. a hotkey for targeting monster would be nice too considering that you provide hotkeys for the command (attack, skill, item, skip turn).

I would like to see class advancements mebbe after lvl 10 or 15. Rogue-> Ninja: dual wield maybe a stealth to inc evasion, Fighter-> Berserker: sweeping attacks hit 2 or more enemies, Mage -> Summoner: can summon random mob to fight/buff, Healer-> Grand Priest-> Holy element spells which debuff accuracy or something. mark up if u like the idea thx ^^.
