stage 8 is simply impossible-just not time to get enough resources to build up defences capable of surviving the first wave...and worse yet, if you don't use some of your precious resources to build at least one garbage truck and landfill, zombies spontaneously appear right on top of your headquarters the second it turns dark!

needs a longer campain to easy and it needs a sprate campain from the tutorial i could not tell which was which other than that 5/5

Need more hotkeys! I wish we could see the oil and research gain as well.
On stage 7 one zombie was on top of my floodlight and it refused to die, constantly regenerating to full hp when it died (like 5 times in a second) had to demolish the floodlight to complete the stage

@larsiusprime : i REALLY love the basic principle of your game.
It need a little more polishing and lenght tought, like add some easier level and scale difficulty more progressive.
But the concept is really good and fun, try to keep working on it :)

I enjoyed this game before it was uploaded on Kongregate on, I think it was called Free World Group, or something.
I don't like how Solar Energy and Wind Energy provides dismal amounts of electricity. I was honestly expecting a level with a lot of wind and a level with a lot of bright sunny spots 8(
Flood Lights seem to die quickly, too 8\
The only other thing I was a little disappointed in was that the game mentions you could research recycling for debris, but I don't think that's an option 8(

ok few things.. level 8 your supose to lose upgrades "it says you were sabotaged and lose upgrades" you can update this game if you post new game with same thing they get deleted

wewt finaly did 8 on my third attempt.... i was left with a garbage truck, my frotress on 5 hp, and one hell of a lot of garbage everywhere :P

Also - SERIOUS BUG!!!
When in battle (at night) it is next to impossible to build anything, as the menus lock up, and keep returning to the "home menu" - really destroys gameplay :(

Bug. When restarting level you loose ALL your upgrades. I have only found this on level 8 as this is the only level where I have had to restard. (I restarted on level 7 and I think I had the same problem, but I cannot remember...)
Worth a 4/5, but because of this annoying bug it gets a 3.

I enjoyed the added difficulty of level 8. It took a few tries but I finally beat it. I do agree though that a few more levels before ramping up the difficulty that much would have been nice. I'm not sure why some people are crying for a Menu button - its at the top, a mute button would be nice but the audio wasn't too irritating to demand one. I think the issue with turret placement is from the spot light area - I noticed whenever they were on at night I could not place new buildings in the area they covered.
Badges would rock.

No, I had the same problem. I had metal and energy, but could not put down new turrets at night, during the attack (on unblocked squares).
Incidentally, those farms are INCREDIBLE! They put out so much food, and overnighy too! As soon as they are built. We seriously need agriculture tech like that.

I played this elsewhere -- armor or jayis, or something -- and I'd be giving it 5/5 if it were the same version. While the one I played was too easy, this one has some substantial problems. The game lags terribly when there are a large number of objects on screen; I was having serious problems simply placing new defense structures in the last level.
I don't know if it's a version change, the Kongregate API, or even just a different browser, but I'd love to see some updates made to this game.

Super game. Many new ideas here. What to work on: Lvl 8 has been mentioned. Also, would be nice to have a "final score" assigned on the open-end missions. Would make it possible to compare game accomplishments.

Learning curve is crap. If you want to make difficult levels, by all means do, but level 8 is too early. You are essentially walked through the first 7 levels, then suddenly bam...you barely get through a single wave. Needs more straightforward fighting levels before you get to level 8.

I'd have to agree with the Lvl * sentiments. It's WAYY to effin hard.
I like the game a lot and it plays well right up until lvl 8 which then completely poops on my fun.
Suggestion: If you want lvl 8 to be hard, thats cool, but let us keep our upgrades. It's WAY too hard to make it all work with limited energy/fuel AND no upgrades. or at least let us have Half the upgrades we had before. Call it demoralization of your troops becuase of the crazy spreading doom and gloom.
Cut us a break. It would be a LOT more fun if 8 didn't totally bust our funbag.
2/5 untill you fix lvl 8, then its a 4 or even 5/5

I agree with helios, you need more time in the last level.
As a matter a fact, thats not the only thing, it also needs some descent sublevels between the last and the ones before the last, cause tha last is much harder than the previous levels,
you dont have the time to adjust to the difficulty of the last level...
