The last level of the demo on extreme difficulty would require a level 15 archer with armor-piercing skill. But my party is only level 10. Btw, you can reskill archers to max.poison against those pesky armored skeletons, this works fine as long as there are not too many of them.

I typically get bored with tower defense games pretty quickly but the RPG elements make this a winner for me. I had to buy it. Kudos to the creators for creating such an engaging game!

OH SNAP - after you start NEW GAME +, you can switch back and forth between your original campaign and the new game plus campaign to finish all the missions, and carry over everything including gear back and forth.
GENIUS!!!!!!!!! That actually makes the game worth the cost of getting a full version.

This is flat out the BEST Tower Defense game I have ever played. The story is interesting, characters are great(slak), and most importantly this game is FUN. I love the RPG aspect to it, the levels are challenging and well designed and the classes are as well. Pre-ordering DQ2 as soon as I get paid this week! Thank you so much for such a great game and keep up the outstanding work!

+++++. And a huge thank you to the developers; I actually got more out of the $20 I dropped for this game than I do out of the $50-60 that I've spent on most of my console games. <3

I bought the full version, but I am getting an NSIS Error when I try to install the downloadable version for Windows. Can anyone help with this? Thanks in advance.

A fantastic game, the only problem I'm having is that after I download the setup when I try to use it I get a message saying the files either aren't being downloaded or are corrupt. Could you please fix this? Otherwise amazing job.

Note: The book of face can be both good and bad ai It has the chance to either slow down your opponents movement, leave it at normal, or accelerate it!

I would take this DEMO word out at least from the title. I believe some people aren't trying the game just because of this word :)
Simply tell them in the Description that Acts V+ are not included in the free version, and the full game is only $10 :) If someone NEVER EVER would play a demo or spend $10, he'll leave after reading description.
But don't repulse people (some of whom might even confuse demo with something like alpha-beta development stage).
Actually, we originally called it "Defenders' Quest Prelude" for exactly that version - to show that it was more of an intro to the game. However, we had a very strong backlash of "false advertising" from players, and a low score. We didn't want to deceive people, so we put "demo" in the title, and fortunately the players rewarded our forthrightness with a much higher score and very positive feedback. So, while I understand what you're saying, I think we'll go ahead and keep "demo" in there. ;-)

I have to say (after buying the full game) I can easily see this as being the highest rated game on Kong due to the extreme amount of gameplay. I mean, you have 99 battle, which alone is more than most games on Kong, but the fact that you each level has 3 difficulties easily makes this the longest game on Kong gameplay wise. That being said, there is a bit of grinding to be had after you beat the first boss, as the difficulty kind of shoots up from there but that is so easy to look past when you see the full scope of the game. This is easily better than those 20$ games from Popcap or BigFish that are in all essence the same game one after another and only have about 10 hours of gameplay. Well done Level Up, well done.

I've really got to hand it to these guys. Apart from a few minor audio glitches, the demo is very professional. And you KNOW it's a good RPG/Strategy game when it reminds of Fire Emblem

the developers are working on the 2nd installment, speaking as a current alpha tester gotta say it's gonna be great :D (also, the complete version of this game is more than worth it)

I purchased this a few years ago. Honestly, at that point, I hadn't actually purchased a game in a long time. But it was so good that I had to. Honestly it may be the most well done tower defense I've ever seen.

Just a warning for anyone who regularly cleans out temp internet files and what not. The save data for the demo is stored locally, as TDRPG-Save.sol Back up said file or avoid clearing your cookies/temp files. :P

I don't want the full game, no thank you. BUT thanks for the demo version. There is enough content to enjoy for a proper flashgame =) Thanks mate. 5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Fantastic! It's a pity that flash is lost. The developers began at Kongregate. What huge creative potential is lost here also...

This is SO MUCH BETTER graphically. (Full) journey-wise, I am still much amazed at the great emptiness in upper-right and lower-left corners.

And the best thing about the game is that even experienced users can find a lot of challenges, i.e. by deciding not to recruit any characters, sticking just with those who are part of the storyline, and/or not to buy any gear, or never to grind for more XP, playing every battle just once. All CAN be done and each has a very different feel and approach...

I think it's important to note that the devs are kind of selling themselves short saying the demo is 20% of the game content. While it might be roughly 1/5th of the total levels, it is only a fraction of that in play time and enjoyment. I've already got 6 or so hours logged (bit over an hour on the demo) and I might be about half way through the game.

I've given it a 5/5 and even bought the game. It's just... I can't resist! I've thoroughly enjoyed the first two acts... and I kinda also wanna know what's going on!
