Great game with amazing potential 3 things though
1. the attack animations themselves are really quick compared to the time it takes displaying damage exp ext. and i feel if data displays were quicker to match the animation length it would improve gaming experience a lot
2. You start looking like a bad *ss knight which compared to what you fight... well it just doesnt make sence, scaling your look with gear or level and making you character look more weak at the start would make the game a little more realistic I feel would do wonders for the atmosphere
3. facing direction should be set at the end of the turn not end of movement me moving to a place setting face direction and changing it by smacking someone kinda defeats its purpose
Other than these issues the game is quite good and shows great potential 4/5

It would be nice if you let us gather treasure chests after combat was over instead of just ending the scene on defeat of the last mob.

50 treasures? For real? I've gotten 20 and spent some time grinding already. No way I'm ever getting whatever the thief guild offers...

Pretty bad game, almost no story, combat is too boring - slash enemies ten rounds until they die with no real risk as they do 1 damage. lockpicking is waste of time as you need spend hour to get easy chests before you could open medium ones and clumsy interface where every move takes ten clicks.

I am having trouble getting easy treasure chest. I am at the jungle and here and the grove seem to give med. chest. but i cant open them til lock pick skill is 10. so i keep doing the deep forest over and over hardly ever getting an easy chest but i still need 3 more lock pick point to start opening my med. chest. Am i doing something wrong?

i like the game, but it would really be a lot better if the other allies did their own actions based on what's best for them, instead of you doing all the moving and such for all of them.

The game is too fast, I can make almost 2 moves per hour, outrageous. Also LOVE fade effects which at least try to slow this too-fast game to playable speed. Confirmation windows after each fart are awesome too. *facepalm* That's the perfect example of a very good game ruined by aweful design and slowpoke speed.

Movement is weird. Why can I move 3 squares when there's nobody in the way, but when there's someone in the way, I can move 5 squares to have a net movement of 3 squares in that direction? It doesn't make any sense!

I think this game has real potential to become something great. Throw in a character customization, jazz up the graphics, and maybe have a few choices that affect the game ending etc ?
I enjoyed playing this, although the game speed is a bit slow.

I haven't played very much, and I just came back to it since I got an email saying it was Revamped. It is...I like it quite a bit. I was a HUGE fan of Final Fantasy Tactics, and NOTHING seems to be able to satisfy that itch. One thing so far I've noticed...the direction you want to face should ALWAYS come at the end, not before you attack. Unless there is a reason behind why you do this.

OKay.... I don't care about the speed, since it's a single player game if that bothers me I can speedhack it with no trouble from anything. What I don't understand is how to lockpick. And why don't I get any stats from leveling up? Is stats just equipment..? I hope this is figured out before I just get frustrated and quit...

ah well it seems that attacking from the back might not have any effect in this game... if it doesn't what is the purpose of facing?

Not gonna update this game anymore I think he is. Anyway, there is a reason they chose to alter facing AFTER you do your action in games like FFT, this game however has it before, so that when you someone does an action it chooses your facing for you. I don't think some of the commentators realize the meaning of facing, hitting from the back does more damage etc. That was never said, and even though it's common in these games, I think they didn't expect it so they didn't do it, maybe a more complete tutorial? People are comparing this to a console quality game (100 or so people working on it as to just 1), an unfair comparison. For what it is it's fairly good.

If the developers can’t even figure out how to make separate controls for music and sound effects, they deserve to have their games rated 1/5.

This game is terrible slow. The AI is nonexistant. All the bad guys move three squares and cannot move over dead bodies or chests. Don't be fooled by this Shining Force/FFT look-a-like. This game looks good but is a long shot from fun.

At first, I was pretty excited when I saw this game. At first glance, it reminded me of my precious (and favorite) game; Shining Force. But then I actually sat down to play it. It's an awkward, shoddy, unwieldy mess.

TOO MUCH CLICKING!
This game has potential, but having to click through so many submenu's just to attack, and with the delay as each menu loads, the game becomes frustrating.. how about hold down right click on a tile, then choose move/attack type/etc?
Reduce the number of Submenu's please!!!

I have a problem with the freeze spell. Everytime I use it, the enemy always move and the battle following I don't have the chance to participate it (I mean, I can't use anyone of my players)...

So cute! it seems to me like the old FINAL FANTASY TACTIS, except for some actions that in this game are not executable (like, for example, digging for treasure everytime you move). But I'd like soo much this game ;)

Oh and yes, an auto-save is needed before every battle. I just tried beating level 2 twice in a row and died - boom, game over, have to start again from the very beginning.

Looks like an interesting deep TBS game, but I must agree with other reviewers that the game is too slow pace: slow fade outs, animations. And the battle controls aren't optimal. Many of the orders could be streamlined and done with just 1 click. I'd suggest that the devs check out Hero Academy game for iPhone: there you can issue orders with 2 taps (select the unit, order) or even 1 drag. The current control scheme with even a separate button for Move reminds me Dune 2 for PC from early 90s. But all strategy games after that realised that 1 click is just enough for movement.
