A fine, very inventive shoot'em-up, weapon-wise, enemy-wise. I don't mind picking up money (tactical element). On the downside: if you play with a non-American keyboard (WASD are, well, not at the same place) and have to use arrows (VERY far from the upper 1 2 3), changing weapons becomes a very inconveniently acrobatic and detrimental experience that spoils all the fun from lvls30+.

Lag is making the game incredibly frustrating. One huge issue I have, besides the money collection, is once you kill your quota of enemies, you should be invincible. I have died so many times as the timer counted down. I killed what I was supposed to, why isn't that good enough? Still a great game though.

The game could be great, but the interface problems are simply too much. Visuals and sounds is not enough for a good game. 2/5

picking up money wouldn't be so horrible if it weren't for the combination of: a time limit, no 'drift' in the ships movement, and other targets getting in the way.

This is a great game. Having to touch the money to pick it up is a problem though. It doesn't bother me having to pick it up, but like the top comment says, I wish there was at least some kind of magnet. I end up taking a lot of damage because I'm having to run right over it before it goes away. Other than that, fun simple game so far. 60 levels is a hell of a lot. ..Although nothing like the 169 levels in Gemcraft Labyrinth, which is what I've been playing non stop and why I've gotten no badges in 2 days.

Instead of *forcing* us to close each weapon panel, just put a Weapon Info Area so we can quickly select through all of the available weapons - oh, and put a money magnet, for the love of all .....

I Bought the BFG because it sounded good in my situation, but i wasted my money. And how come arc spread is the best weapon in the game

Don't destroy all the turrets on some levels....
>< enemies don't spawn and you end up without enough enemies to win the level unless you time it right. e.g lvl 07
good game though, gtz

i hope longanimals still revises this game because just a few changes would make it much better. as the top comments said, magnets and replaying levels should be added. and also, you should be invincible after you meet the quota because the dumb words always block proojectiles on my screen and i end up dying even though i met the quota.

Weapons need more shots before overheating...5 shots with the big laser before a huge cooldown just doesn't work for the higher levels. That or weapons need to be able to be fired at half charge instead of having to wait for full.

I found level 58 very hard even though I had unlocked all the weapons. After many failed attempts at dodging, I was finally able to find a good scheme that got me into the high 180 kills reliably. Try the BFG, Slow Time, and Lightning then move to top right corner, slow time, and fire BFG to bottom left corner, hide in the huge blast of the weapon and start using lightning like crazy. When you get to the bottom, fire the BFG in the reverse diagonal and travel back the way you came. Without the slow time the fast kamakaze ships will smack into you but with lightning going you stand a much better chance of getting away clean. It took me about 10 tries with this method before I got the hang of it and eventually was able to beat the level.

The point of having to try to get money while you can, but not kill yourself, is that then there is a challenge in the game. if you get stuck in a situation where you have no gun, then you spent your money poorly. If you could replay levels, then there wouldnt be the trade off of gettng money, or saving your health. If you could go back and replay levels, and get the money automatically, the game wouldnt be hard at all.

A challenging game with a lot of wacky weapons, but as said before it can use a lot of improvements, definitely the money system. It's not worth risking your life to get money.

Not a bad game but certainly many areas for improvement. The money system is one thing. Not being able to replay levels or keep your money upon death can get you to the point where a level is too hard. Once levels start getting too hard, you focus intently on killing and avoid enemies that you fail to pick up the money which only digs you into a deeper hole.

For those mad there's no repeating a stage, there is, you have to beat all 60 stages though, which makes it pointless.

IF you want to beat level 60 in 10 seconds follow these steps.
1)in shop put ricochet in first slot, lightning in second, and short shield in the third.
2)Stand on top of the boss ( yes you can do this)
3)Use ricochet... once it starts its cooldown, use lightning... when that starts cooling down, use short shield until he dies.
4)Celebrate!

For everyone having trouble with level 58, bring Lightning, BFG, and Shortshield. Start with the lightning, use it until it starts cooling down. Then fire the BFG and stay inside it. Use the shortshield while the others are on cooldown, rinse, lather, repeat. All these multitarget weapons should keep you from getting hit. Hope this helps!

the game wouldn't be so annoying hard if there wasn't a 3 second delay from selecting a weapon to when it actually switches, the "death duck" is near useless since switching to deploy it you have to wait forever before it fires.
