To everyone saying that slowdown abilities are useless because of cooldown bar: I agree, but think about these as about escape-helping abilities.

Henchman: Sire, a chicken has killed one of our Dragons
Boss: YOU DARE JOKE WITH THE MASTER OF THIS DUNGEON
I could only look at his tears before he was hanged

Why do you (and others too) use ZXC as ability keys? That messes with both AZERTY and QWERTZ keyboard users, QWE at least keeps it the same for QWERTZ, something like CVB, SDF or JKL would be the same for everyone....

Oh yes, another stupid game that uses ZXC, making it unplayable for those on a QWERTZ keyboard. Developsers, please make it configurable at least.

I've been searching for this game for years, and I'm so happy I finally found it. It was everything I expected, just a bit changed.

The biggest problem I have is the fact that all abilities share the same cooldown meter, and I can't use any of them until it completely empties. This renders abilities that weaken enemies such as Slow and Confuse virtually useless, as I can't attack the weakened enemy until the meter empties, and by then the effect has usually worn off. No matter who I pick, it always boils down to wailing on enemies with my fastest attack.

Bias the monster spawns towards unknowns, with the rate increasing for each time you've beaten the game. After 5+ game completions, you should be running into something new about every other dungeon. Scale the number of free unlocks the same way. Two free unlocks with your second completion, three for your third, etc. Together, that would make completing your monster collection a lot less tedious. Consider adding a coliseum with multiple.

its kinda funny to think that this game is like Realm Of Mad God and its awesomely small pixels that is walking tru a certain flappy bird dungeon

I am very sorry for assuming the sprites are stolen
I now realise that they are copywright and royalty free. I hope you can forgive me. But the game is like pokemon... GOTTA KILL 'EM ALL

thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou for not forgeting epic female characters that kick some butt!!!!!! Us girls are SO often forgotten or not even used as some strong characters! & sometimes when they ARE remembered, they wear clothing the equivalent to a bikini! I don't care if the game's pixalated either, heck, some of these characters look like some Aveyond & Ahriman's prophecy characters! Beautiful game!!! PLEASE make a second! ...& separate charge bars.

If you're here for the badge(s), the easiest way I found to get the first two is to use the necromancer and just spam summons while standing where the monster can't see you. If you're about to take on a monster you can't drop skeletons on, summon a pile (4 or 5) in a hole, then lead the monster back there and jump up and down until they kill it. It doesn't matter if they hurt you a little, because you can heal afterward.

All the characters are ones from Realm of the Mad God. I mean, the games sure are different, but, couldn't they think up something original for the characters?

To farm big characters, you reroll the map by hitting escape and then clicking on Return to Characters BEFORE killing anything. The map with big characters starts very horizontal with one step up in green dirt tile type, with a gap and then the stone tiles. The big characters are in top right of the map and requires flying to reach.

@Everyone talking about ROTMG: ROTMG and GDITS were both made for the same competition, where the developers had to make a game using a set of pre-made sprites. Out of the two, GDITS was released to Kongregate first.

I know that the character can jump the gap if my timing is pixel perfect - well it isn't so good luck to those who can manage it.
