If you have a 'Auto Victory' When the enemy castle is destroyed. That would be way to easy and kinda boring. Getting the flag is more fun plus a challenge while you cover you men to get the flag and back. Check my profile on how to defeat the bosses if people are having trouble. But It may not work!

Shooting the enemy castle with normal arrows gets you 10 gold. Destroying it makes it so no enemy archers can hide in it and shoot you. It also means enemy units can't use it as cover so you can shoot them the second they enter the screen. Stop saying there isn't any "bonus" for destroying it, because there clearly is!

if you wana win really easily after the first level get the archer or swordman upgrade * i got archer * then leave them on auto fire or auto summon the green bar on top of icon and make sure then entire level you always hit the castle for gold the archers will take care of the rest :D

Best game keep up the good work but next time pls remove that feature where u can kill ur allies too i kill my troops countless time.. but still an extremely good game

Tip for getting the Medium Achievement, some arrows do more damage to the enemy castle, E.g the Bomb arrow, and hitting the enemy castle counts towards the achievement. + if this helped. :)

wtf? I beat all 30 levels, didn't get the badge and it resets my profile to the beginning? I just wasted 7 hours of my life. It was long, boring and not worth it!!

This has got to be one of the most repetitive defence games I've ever played. I shoot the castle with bomb and fire, castle down, I send 1 group of archers and grunts, and I pelt everything I have until they get the flag back. Every. F*ing. Level. It got dull after a level or 3, and now I still have a bunch to go.

You don't lose when your castle gets destroyed, BTW. Why would the enemy? Quit whining and take the free xp and gold.

how come i get the boss at lvl 20, i think that's the reason that some people don't get the achievement at the end. Seeing as you can skip even shooting him. I was disappointed, because i've beaten this game before and the boss is really fun

heh i dont know why but getting a critical headshot on a priest just makes me happier than getting a crit. on anyone else

I completed the game, watched all the ending bits in hope it would award my badge but no badge!
It then deleted my profile so now i have no proof i did it. Sort it out!

love this game, but disappointed that the sequel is a very VERY VERY long way away, if it ever comes. I think it's been two years and one game that he made as just a small game (just a winter version) is still in the Alpha stage. OH well, still love this game and looking forward to Bowmaster 2. 4/5

Dear Kongergate players please know that the game creators will never change something in their game just because you hit plus. I t just takes up space on top comments board. Especially if the game is older than two weeks. They may fix a bug or change some little thing but never something that will change the whole gameplay.

@Chad, you lose because your character dies since he is inside the castle. If your castle is low on health you have to move him out of it.
