Fun little game although it could use some ship speed upgrade and a better variety of guns. However the gameplay was fun and the progression was solid. Well done. 4/5

here are the best builds:
speed:the blue cannon...and only ONE....a good supply of energy then you just explode the guys!
damage:same cannon but this time.....stack at leas 4 of them on top of each other
area:8 splash green cannons evrywhere....=mass distruction

The Kamikazes seem to move faster when moving in a cardinal direction. If you are having issues, go diagonal to slow them down.

It feels like the same upgrade and collect and arena concept, but with a lot more customizing.

I was playing in hard mode and reached level 40,I was like:OMG!All enemies can instant kill me!And it's homing!Then I realize I'm playing in HARD MODE.

Oh, and you need power ups that drop last longer, since they disappear in no time and need some sort of indicator on the map that they dropped. Personally, I try to stay as far away from my enemies and let them follow me, works best so you don't get utterly murdered in the later levels, and I almost never see a power up drop, and even when I do, the waves are so hectic, if I even consider getting the power-up, I die.

I've gotta say, suddenly introducing enemies that have homing AND can murder you in about a second flat, is not entertaining, not fun and just plain annoying.

Gah, my dreams of making a super laser with such high attack speed that it all just blended together into one big beam were smashed upon finding out 9 shots a second is the highest fire rate available. What's that crap, yo?

maxed all stats, gunz: 8x mini-gun (240 ATK, 10 EN useage, 9/s Fire Rate, 0 Area, 0 Homing) and I got my combo up to around 370 to 380... :P
