It is a little inconsistent to have your weapon shutdown when out of energy while you are told during play that it is overheating and going to melt.

Find myself ignoring offset and just adjusting my position instead. This game asks the player to give extra effort to use the complicated targeting system which makes the difficulty at times feel artificial. Most games of this type force you to compensate for enemy movement on the fly with fluid shot control which comes naturally. Would be nice if the environment felt larger, but I do like most aspects of the game. Oh and it would be nice if ships being plopped down on you map didn't kill your combo when they land on you its as if you are expected to only do well when you memorize the level timing and ship spawning.

Another game that I'm sure was pretty good and interesting in 2009 but leaves you thinking that it's a bit lame for 2014.

Also, this needs more control over volume than just "on" and "mute"; game volume is so high that it drowns out spotify

So unpolished...targeting system is terrible, so clunky. Should be more like Death vs Monsters system. Also, the dialog.....wow. Just wow.

Odin's special isn't damage + heal, it's damage + *INVINCIBILITY* while active. So to beat Loki easily: get Excalibur (beat 19 with Lightknife... and Odin), and equip it.
Fight normally (strafe slowly), but when you get hit, or if you use the special, see the blue invincibility shield? Fly RIGHT IN FRONT OF Loki and fire full-blast. Once it wears off you'll get hit right again... but it's fine, you'll have racked up 200k so hello +50% special. Rinse and repeat.

Fun game, one of my main problems was that most of the ships were way too slow and really limited your ability to dodge which is important. However it was a lot of fun to play through and laugh at the poorly translated dialogue. Fun game. 4/5

Nice game! Some wishes: (1) the font should be larger, (2) I would like to optionally disable all story dialogues, (3) I would like to disable the chain break message, (4) I would like in-game messages not to appear exactly on my damn ship.

Playing this game again, I always cringe whenever I see the spelling errors. Great gameplay and the controls, while they took me a little bit of getting used to, aren't as terrible as most people say they are. 4/5, on account of the spelling errors.

The txt is kind of hard to read for some reason.... It might be the color or the font. I've tried zooming in but it didn't help.

Something I noticed: if you get a chain break at above 200k damage, you get 5000 gold no matter how high your chain was. So you would get more gold by purposefully breaking your chain every 200k than getting a 600k chain.

Easier than I thought it would be. If I could give one bit of advice it would be to relax. Dodging is much easier when you are relaxed.

Awesome concept with some fatal flaws in my opinion. First, controls are complicated. I can manage moving around/shooting/switching target just fine but trying to tilt shooting while managing everything onscreen is too hard.
Second, the text is so small. I had to use the magnify on my mouse just to read the workshop descriptions. I purchased a mine that never showed up as a weapon...pretty annoying. The second boss is way to hard and I shouldn't have to grind 10+ times just to beat it.
