Damn I was SO flipping close this time. Month 12 and everything! I still can't get the hang of when to grind and when to "sell" the kids. I don't like doing quests with lvl 1 newbies because I don't want to fail the quest. In fact, I found myself with no quests for exp. unless they were 4 stars (Yes.. my little level 3 Ryan is totally gonna be able to handle all those wolves) and sometimes I got only errands three days straight. Say whaat?

Needs a formation option... I'm tired of my spell caster constantly being right there with my melee, and my other melee always lagging behind.

I can't seem to level up magic. I can recruit somebody with 9 phys, 8 dex, and 12 mag and by the time they hit level 3 they have 13 phys, 10 dex and still 12 mag.

This would be a great game with more polish. I'd love to see a sequal with better excuted ideas and tighter gameplay. And maybe an auto battle because dam the missions get repetive

One little trick I used was at the end of each month, recruit all the students you weren't going to get, and graduate them immediately. An untrained recruit gives you about 50 fame, and since it's pretty much impossible to train all 5 students every month, you're going to have leftovers, so as long as you have the gold, you can get about 100-150 extra fame each month, which can help you keep up, and if you're strapped for gold, it's a much better gold>fame conversion rate than upgrading weapons.

Ok, complete garbage. The Ai is nonexistant. Pathing is nonexistant. Control is nonexistant. You can get every monster stuck behind a river and kill it without any danger of being hit back. The students seem to be either cloned or there is a serious incest problem in this realm. Changing class seems to include a facial and a visit to the hairstylist and tailor.

If the text is appearing too slowly, you can just click again and it will give you the rest of that block of text immediately. (Final Fantasy 7 and other games did text the same way.)

I usually detest games that raise the bar until I lose, but you've hooked me on this one. Well played.
Not sure why there’s a Passive command, because characters don’t usually attack by themselves. It'd be nice if ranged characters began to attack once an enemy’s in range, not just when ordered. Gunners don't have this problem, only spellcasters. I guess they're trying to conserve their mana? But only Magilancers and Scholars ever run out of mana. Combat doesn't last long enough for other characters to run out.
Maybe you don’t want that skill curve. I just think that since you have the combat system in place, you could develop it. The 9-button control scheme is pretty slick. You could do neat stuff with it.
I'm enjoying your game. Haven't found the hidden button, but I hope it says "Assassinate the King", because I'd like to be rid of the greedy bastard.

and up your students weapon so if you graduate the fame that you can claim is higher than 100 even if your students is grade 1
