It is much better than the first, but still boring, because it sometimes takes so long to win a game. The opponent can stand up from a 1 height castle to a 60 or higher. And an other thing: I couldn't build over 100, my opponent did, and I lost. Why? It was so annoying...

I just found a BUG: My opponent just stopped playing. He doesn't do anything and the game is stuck. This happened after he discarded a card in the last turn. Anyone having the same problem????

Hard-campaign is a bit... too much? Bad luck (rather often for me) I've been instant-killed by the enemies first turn... either through dragons or trojan horses

A nice remake of Arcomage from Might and Magic VII. Would be nice if it allowed different rule sets for starting and victory as found at the different inns in MM7.

I realize that card games are inherently going to have some chance in them, but on "hard" some of the levels get ridiculous. You start off with little health, few resources and basically no people, and the computer, with its large starting resources can use very powerful cards, wiping you out in a few hands. Needs some balancing work here.

differentiation between staffing and materials of you and opponent is very tedious and slows game play. maybe change colors between the two or stagger on two lines as opposed to one long line (change font, font size, something, just to make it easy at a glance to decide the right card to use)

... First turn, Trojan Horsed, really? I know it makes for a more difficult game to have that possibility, but it doesn't make for a fun game. I liked the original much better. 3/5.

Yea well sorry Yahoo but the game would be alot less fun if you could make a deck out of ten copies of just 4 different cards. Limits are put there to make you build your deck strategically. I like it. though way too short. This feels like a demo. There needs to be more unlockable cards and a larger map

It would be nice if there was some sort of confirmation when you click on "change tribe". I was one battle away from finishing the campaign when I accidentally clicked that and lost all my progress.

Excellent game!! Although the learning curve is pretty steep (no in game instructions) and it's obnoxious to learn what the cards mean by clicking 'info' every time, once you get the hang of it, it's an awesome game. 50/5

The resource system isn't that great, the hard AI's ability to constantly kill your resources while also having a huge advantage makes it extremly frustrating.
No real change from the first game in gameplay, building is still king, and attacking a long way in second place. Why pound on your opponents wall uselessly when building a wall (which can be done with any resource) gives you a higher HP/cost ratio than attacking - attacks generally cost the same or more resources than the damage they do, but walls are always cheaper than the benefit they grant.
Once your opponent has a decent wall, why attack it? simply build your castle to 100% and win.

I completed the campaign in all but 5 minutes...
Please make this a bit more challenging. Magic Weapons + Ambush = 30 direct damage. That's a win in most situations. If not, it's more than easy enough to spam schools + pixies to get 100 castle points before your opponent. 3/5

It is just as same as the HEROES OF MIGHT AND MAGIC VIII game, but the M&M game is better... castles, walls, cristals and magic everything is the same... They just stole the idea...

i miss that feeling of a huge castle that's the height of the playing screen
makes me think my dwarf castle will be squished

Good game and have to agree with top comment. Castle needs to be taller, and maybe for every 25 points, add a tower just for the satisfaction of it. 5/5 music is actually pretty awesome.

Just finished adding some statistics, so now that is left is to nag on Greg to add achievements.
As for the bugs I hope I have sorted out most of them now, if the game won’t load for some time try reloading the page.

Changing the colour / shade of the backgrounds of the Bricks / Crystals / Weapons differently from the Builders / Wizards etc would be good.

I hadn't played the first game in years so I played it again yesterday. What are the odds of a sequel the next day? ^^
