Biggest tip: The ability to discard 3 cards and draw 3 cards is incredibly powerful in a card game. I generally play a deck with 5 of each +1 resource generator, and in the early turns literally do nothing but discard cards to find more resource generators, and play them. Really good.

The hardest thing about the hard campaign was when the game would freeze right before the AI would lose. That's pretty bad. Kill builder/mage/recruit worked for me throughout.

with the deck i used (which i'm sure is not the best-- i just put it together rather sloppily), which consists of all building cards and recruit cards, the hard campaign seemed not too difficult. usually, if i didn't get about 2 recruit cards in the first 2 turns, then i just restarted, but those were rare occurences. the times that i didn't restart, i lost only twice, and won the other 8 (?) times. it took me about 30 minutes max to win the campaign

To win Hard mode: all out defensive. not a single offensive card. AT ALL. only military type unit: max out guards (which build 9wall for 7weapons; also: thieves are optional) . Max builders & mages & schools, crystal+ & brick+, and ALL wall/castle+. Then tone down the more expensive cards until you have 75 (the !@$ minimum). Whenever you start in hard mode, make sure to have AT LEAST 1 BUILDER in your hand. otherwise start over. "+" if this helped.

This game crashes ridiculously often (it will stall on the AI turn without choosing any cards). What's the point in playing when there's a good chance the game won't end?

Hard mode really isn't hard, when the computer has like more than 50+ fences and castles, just discard all your attackers, and try to build up to 100

This creator dosent fix the msitakes he ahd in hes previous castle war. which evrybody complaint about quitting in online should be a win for the person who remained. and even though we put a ton of complaints about that he still went right trhough it and not care about it. if one thing a game designer shoud ldo is fix the previious mistakes the game had so the next one would be way better adn more enjoyable. D:<

WAY too much luck dependence on hard, you just have to play a battle over and over and over until you FINALLY get a good set, you can't make it so you get only cards you need because of the minimum of 75 cards bullshit, i liked the first one far more, 2/5

No matter who wins in single player, the screen does not advance to you win or you lose. It just stays there as if it's someone's turn.

I don't know why people are complaining about how this game is hard.
Pretty easy even if computers have a big advantage, just make your gameplan playing schools and then getting your castle to 100, with trojan horses or ambush + thieves (? don't remember I was using horses)

This is ridiculous, not only is hard mode cheap and completely luck based (lets see YOU recover from a curse first turn and t. horse second) but whenever i get close to winning the AI freezes and i cant win the match. There should be a way to force the AI to do something if it doesnt respond in the first 10s, like discard first card or something just so it moves, this is so irritating i cant get the badge because it refuses to let me win.

i was just playing the hard campaign, had a game for like 20 mins or so and then all of a sudden the CPU stops playing. maybe he's out of cards?
i was just turning the game and winning and then it stops like this :(

Having an issue when selecting Multi-player Game. After the load screen for multi-player, clicking continue turns the game window black and nothing happens. Anyone else?

At first I made a deck with building in mind, but that plan broke down after not too long. Then I switched to an attack oriented deck, which got me farther. It wasn't until I made a deck focused on magic, however, that I finally completed the Hard campaign. The Trojan Horse card was also instrumental to my success.

The key to hard mode is not destroying the enemy, but getting to 100 of height. The enemy has too much cards to protect himself, but not So much to attack. you just need some add bricks and add crystals, some walls (magic/normal walls), and mainly taverns, castles, wains and pixies. With this strategy, the hard badge needs just few tries to achieve.

Thief on the first turn and then trojan horse on the next. That happened five times in a row. Wow, the computer is really "lucky."

BLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH I used trojan horse and forgot that the enemy had magic defence!!!! I sound like a total nerd...

Great Improvement from the first one! The graphics overhall made the game much more enjoyable. Keep up the good Work! My Strategy: Build the castle to 100 and use all direct castle attacks just to keep them from advancing. Worked pretty well in multiplayer

i think that trojan horsew card is better cause it kills caslte only which is part of a win with sp weapons its better you win or they might have more hp than 60 but its help like ambush
