Not-so-well executed Zelda rip-off. Often a bit grindy. Don't expect a good overall story or ending. Tips:
(1) Don't bother with side quests. The rewards are always dreadful compared to just spending the time bashing monsters. (2) Use swords. (3) The best sword is in the starting shop (you'll have to warp back there late-game). (4) Bump your vitality to 15-20 early on, and put everything else in strength. (5) Skills max at 20. Max student first, then coins, then sword, then put the rest in armor. This is all obviously geared towards maxing out your damage: as everyone is saying, at present much of the challenge is finding the stamina to mash j for long enough - this setup does something to minimise that problem. Oh, and one last tip: when the time comes, choose the *right* stairway.

Just because it plays exactly the same as Zelda: Awakening on GB, and the sounds are the same and the weapons are the same and the enemies are the same and the graphics, transitions, bushes, buildings, terrains and quirks are the same doesn't make them the same game Ok!?
I didn't like it 20 years ago but I have the sudden urge to play it now? I don't think so.

Also, this game would be more interesting if there were a powerful boss at the end (one that does more than ~200 damage per hit), and if there were more explanation about the enemies you face.

Interesting and compelling game - I finished it in about a day with all of the other quests before the last one and the ending was quite good. I'm not sure what the top level is but I got to 77 with 100% completion. My only criticism is that it's very easy to get lost and not know where to go.

theres a cave in a place that you swim to to get in. stairs.. a rock maze and mushrooms you cannot kill with the sword, wtf? why ? whats the point?

seriously, why is the combat so bad in this game? i hit enemies, and instead of merely moving back, they move back and to the side. wtf

after playing for 30 seconds I have but one question; could you rip off legend of zelda any harder? maybe add a magical instrument?

Game Guide: Use swords, spend stat points on only strength, spend skill points on Money Collector until at 20, then Student to like 10 and then Sword Mastery to 20. Play through the game normally and keep buying better swords. Grind in the sewers and save up 45K to buy the Golden Flame sword which is located in the shop in the very first town 'Boon'. Now you will be hitting for 400-500 per hit. +1 to Keep this alive.

The UI for this game is kind of annoying. If you're going to make the majority of the controls on the keyboard then you should be able to navigate EVERYTHING with the keyboard. Having to switch from both hands on the keyboard to the mouse and back is really annoying.

16000 Health, Level 69, and beat the game....but there are still secrets around that give nothing. I haven't even gotten The Beach key for the Island of Doom because when I went down I walk through a stump every time and end up on the other side, Lol. I still enjoyed the game though.

Max hp is 19,516, so don't spend more then 20 points on vitality cause it will go there eventually. The max mastery for each skill is 20 points. the max level I don't know yet because I beat the game at level 69 ( mind out of gutter for those who understand).

This game was made by IG Maker (Indie Game Maker, same people that put out RPG Maker), and rather poorly. I know because I use the software. If you're going to use the stock supplied materials, at least try and make the game relatively good.

After swimming manual > go the the beach on west, where you met the first crabs, then swim to the west and you'll discover the next island :) For the Grandma > if it's the boy in Windy village, it's on the west of the village, 4-5 screens before.

Fuuuu ! Changed screen on south-east seas, and appeared on the other screen's side IN a rock, so I fell into a side of the sea supposed to be inreachable.. Then I looked if I could come back but I was stuck. I tried to go out of the map > freeze.. -.-
