uhhh giggity i think you meant "c" instead of "e" and it is Not always 2 c = acceleration, therefore a number that can change. In my case it was 3. in any case your right about the math. U square c(to get 9 in my case), then multiply it by the number in the diary. Viola.

for e=mc2 order of priority doesnt matter just multiply exm and times the answer by 2 so (e)(m)/\2 in that order

Completed it but had to turn to a walkthrough cos I didn't see the passages that head off the final ladders on the way to the top, they're a slightly different shade of grey, bit tough.

the ending needs fixing, you cant read half the message on one screen and thats VERY annoying after solving all that stuff.

Needing to click on a nearly invisible door with no indication that you would even want to look in that area = very bad. Needing to click the same thing twice for no apparent reason = also very bad.

So, for those wondering why the code works, i think i figured it out.
E=MC2 basic algebra says that 2 letters together equals a multiplication, causing it to become MXE2 we sqaure E(always 2) to get 4, which is then multiplyed by X, E stands for equation. therefore Equation=MX4, so assuming that you note says 806, the answer would be 3224

great game pretty hard hard to use the walkthrough for the mc^2 bit and the coils but thats it, 3/5
HINT!!!: for the 4 didget code multiple the number from the letter (m=...) by the number from the radio (c=.)<<<times that number by 2 first......dont ask how or why i used the walkthrough.

Submachine 1 was fun. This one completly sucks, it isn't worth the time, it's more pixel finding and less logic puzzles. Hated it. :-(
