loved this one. is my all time favourite of the series. first time it took me hours (and a walkthrough to get the last token), but this game was awesome. love the storyline, the relationships, and the feeling it gives you while playing. the whole artwork plus the music is just daydreaming or tripping. keep on doing an awesome job.

It's ironic how I used to keep playing these despite barely knowing what the hell is going on. All I knew was that I had to do something an it's the only thing I can do - move forward. I can't gaug the difficulty, though. Point-and-clicks tend to be hard for me. Doesn't mean they're not good, though.

I love these games, but every time a new one comes out, I have to go back and replay the old ones so I can remember the story line.

For those who are having trouble finding the 4th symbol, in the second room room, once you get to the top and enter the door, enter the portal on the right, then go right past the tree until you see the ladder connected to the broken box. Use the gong stick to attackto the broken handle and pull it. Head right and it'll reveal the 4th symbol. Head right and you come out the first door.

PatKDay, if you don't like the genre, you can't judge it fairly. That would be like me playing a FPS game and down-rating it for "too much shooting!" People who like point-and-click exploration/adventure games love this series, nearly universally. The puzzles are strange, yes, but not "illogical" as you claimed; they contribute to the very surreality of the Submachine games that so many people find appealing. Your claim that it was difficult to distinguish between background and interactive objects was also rubbish, as the cursor changes when it moves over any such objects. I didn't see your first comment, but given the rude tone and absurdity of your second one, I imagine I would've downrated it also. People downrate comments that are unhelpful, obnoxious and/or misleading in their characterisation of the game; your second comment, at least, contained all three of those flaws. Don't chastise others for giving your comments the ratings they deserve.

I just woke up this morning...
I open kongregate and a unexpected surprise hit me like a heart attack.
It is submachine 7!

Nevermind, found the sheets I needed. They were just hidden in odd places, like behind a pillar or under a gong... *cough-hint*

After a couple of Submachine episodes which were quite on the low profile, finally I'm glad to see again an episode that mixes exploration and puzzle-solving in a perfect way. Great job.

There's something special about this series. On the one hand, it is very frustrating at times, but it's just frustrating enough to make you want to solve it. And when you finally do... it's all worth the effort.

@drnoam : Question was - How do you know which slots to put those 3 stone keys ?
Answer : You get 3 sketches of 3 by 3 squares, each sketch showing one cross mark in one of the boxes. You also get a sketch that says Triangle is first, Square 2nd, Circle 3rd. If you count the slots next to the stone wall, there are 9x3 of them .. so they are basically 3 3x3 boxes next to each other. The crosses mark the correct slot in each of these 3 grids.

You made a spelling and grammar mistake in one of the letters "Even in my strangest dreams I never thought that I would be able to create through dimentional pathways leading to new unexplored places." you spelled "dimensional" wrong and "create through" implies you are "creating" your way through something, should be "I would be able to create dimensional pathways through to new unexplored places." instead maybe.

To Mateusz's reply to: >>Nice if the pointer would change to a arrow when clicking the area changes the screen. . .
I agree that the arrow doesn't work, but perhaps a little icon in the top corner to indicate that the action to be performed is moving? Like little legs maybe? I did find I was quite often 'accidentally' moving scenes while searching for secret items. Just a thought. Aside from that, this is definately the most beautiful game on the internet.

Great game! Second one of the series that I didn't need a walkthrough for, yet still challenging enough for me to consider it... 5/5. My only gripe, is "dimension" is spelled wrong. Before anybody b!tches about spelling nazis, consider that a game this good should be as professional as possible and that includes spelling things correctly...

In every game there are apparently secret items that we can collect, though they aren't necessary for completing the game. In this game, there are 5 yellow tokens that we can find.

This series gets spookier and spookier... At first it was just a little odd. You were trapped in a house. But now it's starting to make sense, this Submachine thing.....

Perfect point and click game, with beatiful drawings, music that really fits this and a cliffhanger. I wish i could give it more than 5/5 :D

This game is amazing just like all of the other Submachines, and, for that matter, Daymare Town and Covert Front. The only thing that I didn't like was the length. It could be a bit longer (it seemed to end pretty abruptly). Other than that, 5/5 great game.

If you are missing a sheet that would tell you where to put the circle keystone it is under the gong in a pot.... a very irritating place to hide it.

This is the best game...amazing christmas gift, and I was waiting. When it came out I was in class and I freaked out. I got in trouble but who cares? This game is awesome!

Excellent addition to the submachine series. I agree with your assessment that this has pushed the story along the most. Looking forward the final installations!

This is the first day of the game being released, and I'm wondering why it doesn't automatically come with badges. Another fantastic game in an amazing series!
