Tips for final stage: Regenerators are more effective than shields, since you fight for more than 40 seconds. Don't underestimate collectors - you need repair pickups. Put missiles on the center row, to attack the ones behind you. My final setup: 12 shields, 9 lasers, 8 missiles, 6 regen, 4 collectors, 4 boosters, 1 fuel.

How to beat last lvl:
When you fail 3 times in a row the shop gets reset
The less rocks and stars left the least crowded the cargohold will be.
I used:
2 fuel tanks
2 double harvesters
6 shields
8 rechargers
2 rows of weapon - almost all of them triple missile
rest - the +25% thingys (use shop reset to buy more)
Done :)

For last boss use only 1 Fuel module, 4 harvesters, 4 power amps. 6 energy regen, 8, shields and the rest fill up with mostly rockets but keep ca 8 guns for picking off small ships fast.

Welcome to Galaxy Siege where the resources are made up and the stars don't matter. Really though, if you keep grinding any one area in a galaxy, you can get any number of resources you want

The last level is not impossible, just keep farming until a handful more of the damage amplifiers become available. A system to prioritize weapon targets and drone targets would be greatly helpful. And what do those gear things do?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great game- I recommend adding something to the program that lets your weapons avoid redundant targeting - if whoever we're playing is that this technologically advanced they would have thought of making sure their weapons are somewhat effective. As it is so many weapons just fire at the same target, letting the rest through.

If you are having trouble with the last level put alternating max lasers and missiles in the front two rows, a couple max missiles in the middle horizontal row, and a couple in the back. space the middle and back missile launchers about two spaces to the right and left of the middle
. have max shield rechargers, six shield modules, and 7 damage boosters (seven seems to be the critical number for having deadly enough lasers for small ships), two collectors, and all you should need is one fuel module. put the shield chargers, modules, and damage boosters in the back row.
on a decent run it should get you through the ships, the main boss will be cake if you get there.

I think this game needs better introduction to the game mechanics, and not limiting fuel or items in the shop, I would rather be able to spend longer time doing stuff my way instead of being forced into some odd beast.

I wish there were a bonus for finishing a system with fuel to spare. Maybe a line of ore to collect? That would really encourage me to try and really tweak my ship before finishing the final boss.

To beat the last boss keep checking the shop every time you fail you will find that the 25% extra damage modules do appear from time to time, I finished the game with 4 of those, 2 fuel only, 2 collectors, 8 regenerators and the rest a combo of shields and missiles/canons. Good luck finishing the game, really enjoyed playing it and it certainly deserves badges.

There I was, conquering Quus by turning Pirate ships in to eternal drifting bits of space scrap metal. Yet in Quus’ core the resistance became impenetrable. My ship's engineers worked round the clock on different ship configurations but every new raid seemed in vain. When suddenly… a breakthrough! With barely 20% shields we made it through but morale aboard hit rock bottom upon the sight of the Pirate Mothership. During the fierce, seemingly suicidal battle that unfolded the bridge soon reported our ship's shields to have been diminished to a scarce 3%. I steadfastly met the eyes of my bridge crew and bellowed out a final firing command! I readied myself to embrace our impending death while I felt our heavily damaged ship shudder as it released its final salvo. Only several seconds later I realized that the sudden bright light coming at me wasn’t me slowly suffocating afloat in outer space but the view of the Pirate Mothership exploding. Truly a liberating and surprising victory!

Great game, nice idea. Seems to be wel balanced, til the end, when you can easily have over 3000 gems. Maybe a hard mode, where a death or warp costs you a random ship part?

I feel like the ore > star ratio is crappy. You need ores way more, but there is an equal amount of each. Now I have 400 stars, and no ore.

Solid little game, wish I knew what all the gears do except for keeping my drones busy when they're supposed to be grabbing powerups and materials. I also wish the balance of metal vs. stars wasn't so one sided, because the stars feel very pointless all game. I was never limited by stars at any point in the game. Otherwise, I like the difficulty creep, I constantly felt like there was something I could be improving, and even just getting a little more damage or another regen module was generally a very noticeable bonus.

good gameplay, really like the upgrade system as an arrangement of components. The pacing needs work: I had to re-run the same 1/3rd of a zone a dozen times before I could get enough ship equipment to defeat the boss. That's a dozen times of not playing the game, but just watching the same pattern over and over again.

Oh god, the last part is impossible... i build a ship full of the BEST weapon and shield, with only 2 fuel, 5 regen, and 3 site module, but i can't get past the middle of the last part... I give up. Fun game anyway. 4/5

great game just the last level forces you to build your ship as a certain way witch is why not many people can get past the last part, or even half way to across the last way to the boss. 3/5

Missiles disappear if the target is destroyed ...
The problem is the loading time. It starts from the beginning and missiles become useless once two.
Otherwise, great ideas for this game .. Continued please ;)

Great game. It can even be won!
But that requires a lot of time and fine tuning in the last level. Try using just two rows of weapons, some damage boosters, one or two harvesters. The remaining space is for shields and regenerators. One fuel tank is enough. Mixed lasers and missiles tend to work better than just one kind.

good game but i have lags. when i play it. game play slow, when i open other tab game works faster. And this game use a lot of CPU and RAM

i think a good addition would be to add a mark the progress of your last run, so you can judge what modifications did for you.
it would also be nice if there was a way to control what your collectors retrieve, for example; set them to only collect consumables.

Really good game 5/5, needs more parts to buy in the shop.
Issue the ship expansion have the wrong images and need to be switched around to make more sense
