Some serious issues: ==1==Ore/Star ratio: Might as well not have stars because there are always way too many. ==2== Gun/Missile Balance: Missiles are basically worthless because they do less damage over time and still focus fire so more damage is wasted.==3==Collection: once bins are full you can't pick up fuel or repairs, so even if you don't want ore/star you are almost forced to go back. ==4== Overall balance: It's just wonky. Getting to the last boss, for example, is WAY more difficult than the boss itself. You are almost forced to play with a certain build to win which make the modular approach seem pointless.

This game... it has potential, which is pretty much the only thing going for it. Repetitive gameplay, lack of grinding, no (noticeable) diversity in your enemies' strength, lack of animation, and a flawed movement/fuel system are all things you can improve on. You have an alright concept (it's been done before), but your execution was flawed- I feel like you rushed it.

And one last thought : I didn't beat the last level very well. my loadout was 8x +25% weapon damage modules, 4x +60 shield, 7x Repair and the rest was all triple cannons spread out evenly through the ship. I stayed as far to one side of the screen as possible, this was I was only getting half the enemies I would normally encounter.
It is a REALLY tough level.

Great game- I recommend adding something to the program that lets your weapons avoid redundant targeting - if whoever we're playing is that this technologically advanced they would have thought of making sure their weapons are somewhat effective. As it is so many weapons just fire at the same target, letting the rest through.

If you are having trouble with the last level put alternating max lasers and missiles in the front two rows, a couple max missiles in the middle horizontal row, and a couple in the back. space the middle and back missile launchers about two spaces to the right and left of the middle
. have max shield rechargers, six shield modules, and 7 damage boosters (seven seems to be the critical number for having deadly enough lasers for small ships), two collectors, and all you should need is one fuel module. put the shield chargers, modules, and damage boosters in the back row.
on a decent run it should get you through the ships, the main boss will be cake if you get there.

To beat the last boss keep checking the shop every time you fail you will find that the 25% extra damage modules do appear from time to time, I finished the game with 4 of those, 2 fuel only, 2 collectors, 8 regenerators and the rest a combo of shields and missiles/canons. Good luck finishing the game, really enjoyed playing it and it certainly deserves badges.

The only way I managed to beat the final level was to put all of my passives on one side and all my weapons on another the go completely to one side of the screen so my passives were off the map (and unable to take damage or draw aggro). Kind of a poor design on that last part in my opinion since the only way to win is to cheese your way through it.

Maaan...I'm at the last level, with 250 shield, 5hp regen, 120, fuel, 2 modules of 25% damage, 10 triple missiles, 6 double missiles, 9 triple cannons, 2 double cannons, and somehow its not enough to defeat the mobs before getting to the boss z___z I bought everything I could to make the ship better and its still not enough WTFFFF

Needs a rate of fire booster. Damage booster is nice but with 7 on board it 1 one shots almost every smaller class craft. Problem with that is about 15 turrets fire all at once at the enemy making 14 shots wasted and you still end up waiting to recharge. Otherwise 5/5.

I wish the ship was more manuverable so in the boss fight you could use fuel to dodge and it could count because even if your still you use up fuel like sirspikey said

Energy and fuel take up zero storage - why can't I collect them when storage is fuel?
I actually want a way to disable ore collection.

Ended up giving just 3 stars. A good concept, but needs improvement. Ability to focus harvesters, availability of needed modules in shop (instead of 30 worthless fuel tanks and no regens) maybe better weapons. Had to play thru the last galaxy 15 times, changing configuration each time, before I got to the final boss. Finally had something like 15 shield units, 6 regens, 7 +dmg satellites, 2 harvesters, one triple fuel tank, and the rest weaons (all triple cannons except for 2 triple missiles).

You do know that spaceships don't just stop when they run out of gas, right? I hope? They keep going in whatever direction at whatever speed they were going when they ran out.

Why do shots disappear after the enemy dies? You should fix that, it's really annoying when the screen is full of enemies and your shots keep disappearing after every explotion. (Sorry for my crappy english)

I dont under stand the point of stars, besides blocking your harvesters from mining minerals... at no point in the game was i not bottle necked by ore

Eh... It's not bad, but it's really lackluster. There's not much actual gameplay, just sitting around letting your drones and laser cannons do the work.

just pure chaos. i hated modifying my ship because all the parts were limited on the shop and i always tried not to beat the boss because if i do i can't come back to that galaxy!

Enjoyed the game mostly, but I'd like to add a couple of suggestions;
Please allow returning to previous galaxies to upgrade the ship - due to not being able to afford a size upgrade at the start, the last level was a nightmare for a while since I was a full row down.
Secondly, having "consumable" pickups (repair and fuel) not use up space on the ship would be a big help. The final section of the last galaxy would be so much more straightforward if you could still collect fuel, after having to sacrifice space for shields/guns due to the reason in the first point I made.

Good game. The last level was pretty hard. Hard to experiment a lot with the ship build to beat it. Also, smart thinking in not allowing someone to sell their last harvesting unit.

Tip for last level: put all you shield/regen/+dmg on the right side of your ship and all the guns on your left side then move your ship so that all the shield and stuff are offscreen :)

Overall a very nice game, I enjoyed it.
Although there's a some bug-fixing needed:
1. lasers dissapear if their target is lost
2. name for spaceportupgrades are switched
3. ore to star ratio abundancy is unproportional to price
4. Harvester drone path-finding is a bit buggy when returning
5. when building in the spaceport, you can place modules on "unbuildable" spots by first placing another module next to it and then removing it
6. By buying spaceport upgrades at the same time you can bypass the increasing price.
7. bosses overlap with big space ships
8. enemy fighters tend to stick to the bottom of the screen

well, i'm stuck half-way through the final level, because i keep getting overwelmed by lots of normal enemies. i've got lots of weapons, but what i need are more regeneration modules, to keep my shields charged...and thre are NONE in the shop! how often does the shop get new stuff? once per GALAXY?

I don't get why people say it's difficult. In swarm galaxies you have to get weapons with fast recharge. It's obvious. In the last galaxy i only used such weapons (no missiles at all). One thing, if you let your ship die some times (i think 3) the items in the shop refresh and you can get more. I had 8 damage amplifiers in the end (+25% each ? )

I think you should be able to continue to play even after winning... some type of sandbox. It is really anticlimactic to have to start over and give up all of your upgrades.

Tip for the last galaxy: Concentrate most of your firepower on one flank of the ship, then fly through the level with the "undefended" flank out of the screen. That'll cause all enemies to swarm over your overweaponed flank. Use all damage amplifiers and regens. You'll need 2 level 3 fuel tanks to make it to the end. And shields lvl 3, LOTS of level 3 shields... I managed to win with a 440 or so Shield value.
