How to be rescued if you are taken hostage!
Step 1: Run towards anything shiny, including bullets, grenades, and the people that kidnapped you.
Step 2: If you hear beeping sounds, stay very close to what you think is the source.
Step 3: Resist being rescued, especially when the person rescuing you is in a lot of danger and could die at any second.

Wow this is such a great game! It just feels great to play all around. Please make some more levels, the fourteen levels are over before you even notice they began. Besides that; great game! 5/5

It's hard to differ the enemies from the background, which makes it very hard to run & gun without shooting everywhere you see.

somehow glitched into a room when a guy shot at me and i blew him up. now i am out of bounds. NOTE: this happend on the third level i think

I loved it! And the random movements by the hostages, and that they die from fire, that's not annoying, that's part of what you gotta plan for. Exciting, fun! 5/5!

Fun puzzle/action game. However there is a big problem in that there is no indication of which explosive I have. Since they work so differently, that is really needed.

Parts of this game can be annoying. Like your inability to switch weapons and explosives. Also, you don't always pick up hostages when you walk into them which can kind of mess you up.

Oh, and don't throw grenades at the hostages... unless ya know, you WANT to see them blow up. The hostages are easily confused by objects thrown to them and will very likely attempt to return said object.

Not good.. not HORRIBLE, but just not good. It's not a bad attempt, but it's not success either. It's also not nearly as bad as the most upvoted comments might suggest... not difficult at all to get the badge, 10 kills. You could die to the same guy every time, as long as you kill at least 1 guy first, you'll reach your 10 in 9 deaths or less...

To the developer: Play Hotline Miami. Then play this again. This could be similar, if the controls were tighter and the collisions were better. As is, it's uninteresting at best.

It'd be really nice if, since the hostages have the arrows indicating where they are, the enemy sprites always overlay the hostage sprites when they coincide. I just played through, and, on every stage except the first and the fourth, I ran towards what looked like a hostage...only to have it start shooting at me. Also, collision detection seems a little off regarding hostage and grenade pickups.

The girls should not be so close to the enemies, not if BOTH of you can kill them by accident. It's really annoying when an enemy just kills a girl, when you can't do anything about it because if you tried to kill him you would have killed her yourself

Wow, horribly designed. You lose if a hostage gets shot, the enemies can shoot the hostages, and the hostages wander around randomly so they're often standing in the same place as an enemy or directly in the line of fire. Ends up just being frustrating waiting for people to move to a place where you don't automatically lose.

Great concept. Really enjoyed it! I didn't find it to be overly difficult for a hard badge, but would love to see a second one. Maybe more weapons, and more levels.

Nice Game. 1. Would like to be able to switch guns. 2. Drop c4/grenade/etc. 3. Picking up the girl is sometimes very inaccurate. Takes like 3-4 times walking over her b4 she will get picked up. 4. The enemy disappears into the walls. 5. The "physics" of the bullets/ricochet seem to favor the enemy where they can hit me but I can't hit them. 6. I never know what explosive I'm carrying.

Insomniac, try using an ad-blocker add-on for your browser and/or send a complaint to Kongregate about the ads themselves.

not really about the game but I keep getting these adds halfway down the page that blast loud commercials after about 2-3 minutes and will NOT stop even when I try to pause/mute it it just refreshes itself within 10 seconds and starts over again, the only way to get rid of it is to completely refresh the page and pray it doesn't happen again...
it's a lot of tv commercials like for detergent and cheetos and crap like that

None of the bullets really look like bullets. The default gun seemingly shoots french fries while the opponents shoots hotdogs.

fun game, people are complaing a bit, but its less chaotic then Broforce :)
It took me a while to see, so hint: look at the character icon and look to see what kind of secondary weapon you are carrying.
