I haven't tried Dedrood's approach (yet) but hint for the first three contenders: don't spend anything on the second competitor, buy 2 (or 3 depending on "luck") thrusts. use one at the beginning, then just as you hit the water, hit the second-> this will boost your next try; repeat above for the third try, you should be able to beat #3. After that follow with Dedrood's way: max out on thrust, skis, freaky (etc) for the first try use them in order of buying, in the second try, max everything out except for one thrust, hit it once you hit water it will thrust you out for the final try with more "oomph" then max out as Dedrood stated (thrust, skis, etc). + if it works for you.

If you use a thrust right before crashing (splashing), you will still crash, and use the thrust as soon as you launch on your next turn. Great way to get some extra distance once you're maxed out at 3 thrusts.

I would recomend buying thrust, ski, freaky, creativity then poweder. Once you have freaky, I would recomend trying for a low angle below 30 degrees. Then use freaky (as many as you have). On last freaky hit all thrusts then use skis. Using this method I was able to break 7000 consistently and 8600 feet once and my launch power was never great.

could be a better game. Needs to get to keep upgrades. Make an upgrade where I can slow down the firing arc. turn off the dumb yahooooo sound

To those of you complaining that it's too hard, I agree it is. Unless you use a proper strategy. Google for some, I've finished this game many times over several years, the reason why this game is highly rated is because people back in 07-09 didn't complain that games were too hard.

Got all the way up to Mad Dog. Clicked play. Stop to eat my damn sandwich. The game fires the cannon without my input at 0 power after about four seconds.
No. I don't play games that troll me and make me start over because of stupid crap like that. If you're going to force the player to restart after every death, you should at least make sure his losses are his own fault.

yeeaaahhh!!! got the hard badge, heres the most super secret way to win, dont use your money after beating the 1st 2 guys to use it on the soda thrust, all of it, the next guy mr.happy, the part where it gets tricky, always shoot to the far right and yes use your soda thrust(s) after 1 click.from here on, when buying the upgrades always buysoda thrust, if you already have 3 now, buy skis 1, 2 or 3 of them, then when beating all the others do this the rest of the entire time- spend your money on all upgrades, shoot far right, then try to aim max, then use all your thrusts, then in order, when every time you hit the water, the buttons you should click- skis, freaky, skis, freaky, skis, freaky. remember: always time freaky super close for a better shot of traveling! + so others will know & seriously get the badge!!!

(Right click then press PLAY or FORWARD, this will bring you to the shop with the earned money in your landing... keep doing this until you reach 4,ooo? 0r maybe 5k?...I didn't get the hard badge yet but im starting to get that badge...) Worst part about this game is the stupid accuracy power and time to get off your shot speeds up each level making it near impossible to achieve the overly ridiculous scores of your opponents. Got the 600 badge but not wasting time going for hard.

Dedrood's tips make this game very easy actually. You can save cash in rounds 1 and 2, you shoud have $135 for third round to maximize earnings there. From 4th onward - do as the comment says. Dunno how this got 1,7M plays though... Shitty graphics, no music, entire sound effects consist of I-HAAAA!!! and water splash, irritating do-in-one-sitting gameplay...

Got over 7000 meters and the game glitched, I hit the water but my plane continued, now I'm endlessly falling through a blue background. I've reached over 12,000 meters, this game is very badly made.

The game's difficulty curve is a best example of a most flawed one.
And it is way too random.
I hate it.

Holy shit this game is bad. The gap between levels are way to steep, and the hard badge is purely luck-based as the thing that swings for speed is way to fast. Also you'll spend hours on end because the game fully resets when you lose.
Would never recommend this game, not even if the hard bagde is the only badge on the website you haven't unlocked.

Badge should be just to finish the game, since that's how you achieve the equivalent badge in the game. And it becomes entirely chance-determined by the end in regards to how hard you launch/the angle of launch, the gauge moves way too fast. Also needs more upgrades, by the end I had a $300 surplus with no more upgrades to collect, just one more improvement and I would have beaten the 7k mark.
Also recommend a free-launch mode unlock once you finish the game, to go for the hard badge without having to repeat the whole game.

if you want to win just do 2 turns then right click then click play then repeat. you'll restart the level with the money you got from those turns. (don't buy anything until you want to go to the next level)

That wath i dont like in this game is 1. You lose item who you purchase if dont use on current round 2.If you lose challange your game is "GAME OVER" So this game is totaly weak. 1/5 stars
