oh and by the way, ID released the doom source in like, 1996, so anyone's allowed to do pretty much whatever they want with it. they've done the same thing with the quake source code too... so yeah, when are we getting quake zeroster up in here?

IMO this is a flagship posting to Kong as the recent release of alchemy is going to see a lot of C ports showing up here. I think it's great and can't wait to see how Alchemy and developers like ID start to change the way in which we use and perceive the Flash player. Assuming you are from ID and have rights to republish this then kudos... (though I would like to see more information about the process in the description as a lot of people assume you have rebuilt from scratch and not from source).

This game si a cool game, it is a bit 20th century, but it is the only game on kongregate that feels like an actual first person shooter, even though you cant look up or down, and the graphic sucks balls, i give it a 5/5 for a different look at flash games

To all the stupid people complaining about the game only showing a video of someone playing, You have to press enter and it will display the menu. You need some doom 1 history lesson if you didn't knew that :P

Haha people are mest up, You get to play a full old school game and you give it a low score and complain. These were really good graphics back then and it's a 5 period. Use cheats it makes it easy.

So let me get this straight: you used the Doom Source, recompiled it with a program made by Adobe and now want money for it? Riiiiight. This is an absolute joke and it's pretty sad that "developers" resort to crap like this. Good game or not, this is worthless.

@warlordmaster, Doom was definitely not the first FPS. Wolfenstein 3D came out before Doom... and I'm pretty sure that wasn't the first either!
And for those rating it down because of lag, why rate the game badly because your own computer sucks? JELUZ?! ;P

5/5, but only from nostalgy :). Any other game wouldn't get better than 3 for choppy gameplay. Also i see that nobody mentioned the IDSPISPOPD cheat.
