This is not a puzzle game. There is more skill and precision jumping involved than problem solving. This is a simple platformer.

on the 2 levels that there were the square and plank, then thin long and huge thin, or something, why did the 4 separate? did they get into a fight? did the water carry the red plank with square on him? And I also thought it was cute when I started playing with square, he has such a cute tiny jump :D

Mabye a sequel would be nice! I'd cheer you on, but I don't have a twitter ;( ...But, continuing off of this, you could make Thomas lose his friends by "sacraficing" themselves for Thomas. Thomas could make it out at the end and say "I miss my friends" or something like that. Then Thomas could turn blue. :)

Good game. It does get a bit boring, mabye some different features or a better story would be nice. Music too, like sirtomo said, would make it so much better. I think a good example would be "The company of myself" by 2DArray here on Kongregate. But great game, 4/5, but because I'm nice I say 5/5. Great job.

Good game but you could of added some music, a better background its boring looking at that dull background an easier way to go from block to block and some different modes like darkness for example,(you only have a limited amount of light around each block). I give it a 3.8/5 it was fun to play and you made it in 1 days :o if you did spend a bit more time on it, it would of got around 4.5

For those of you wondering about a reset button there is no reset button obviously but you can right click and click 'play' and you will resume at the main menu. When you click start you will start at the level you were on without losing your data :)

You should have had low ceilings that are too low to let Yellow Guy through, or maybe even too low to let Thomas and Orange Guy through.

i got so far to horizaltal blok (names: skilly:thomas, fat orange blok: fred, skinny long:louis and horizantal: benny
)

i was expecting this to be a sad and serious game about a depressed block named Thomas. instead, it was a cheesy game about friends. i liked it anyway tho 5/5

What's the horizontal brick? A friend that is good at being a bridge? Too strong to be a dog or a snake, not tall enough to be a horse. Komodo dragon? Friendly crocodile? But it can't swim...

Your comment of "needs badges" is rather crappulous. Although I understand that "needs badges" could be interpreted as "your game is good enough for badges, and that's awesome considering it only took 24 hours", badges somehow tend to decrease the rating of games. Right now it only has a 3.65 star rating. That's not that high (but it's good). I can also interpret "needs badges" as "I finished the game and I want a cookie or a badge if you have no cookies". Dang it, the point of playing games is to have FUN, which is your reward. Also, I suck at baking cookies.

I can see what some people are saying about the controls. It is really easy to move too far when you're trying to fine-tune your movements, because it's so fast. It didn't bother me that much, but I can see how it could bother others. This was a cute concept, but eventually I started saying "Ok, how many more levels, please. Am I near the end?" Some indication of progress would be nice. For that matter, a story would be nice. You have the beginnings of a potentially fun game here. Like most people, I can't believe you actually coded this in a day. I mean, wow. Hats off to you sir. Did you have time to eat? ("Mom! Hot pocket!") ^_^

when I was younger, there was a 24 hour/24 page comic fest, where hundreds of folks would get together and have a whole day to make a comic...you've done something pretty amazing, starting from scratch and building something that doesn't just play, but has a concept...thanks for this game.

For 24 hours, this is amazing. I love how it's so simple, but it's great ^-^
A save button would be nice, and so would a reset button. Other than that, it's awesome.

Did anyone else use the flat red platform as a floor-bitch as opposed to an actual friend? After I got that guy, I never had to jump again.

A bit fun, but it really lacks a motive or storyline. That makes it just a boring twist on Braid / In The Company of Myself.

At first, Thomas was alone. But as he met each new friend, everything just became more and more of a pain in the ass.

"A minimalist game about friendship and collaboration." Yeah, because friendship is the word that comes to mind when I'm using the wide red guy as a bridge.

I named them all:
the little pink one is Thomas, of course.
the fat orange one's name is Peter.
I named the tall yellow one Gerald (he's my favorite)
And the flat red one is Roy.

Its okay, but what you could do is add music. Some music would help most of the boredom I had. Plus, is it really necessary for the orange square to fall in the blink of an eye. I died many times by that. Other than that its pretty good. 3/5
