I was hooked and pulled into this game right from the opening music as soon as the game loads. I had a few tabs open on Firefox and was multitasking... until this pulled my attention in 100%. Awesome game, I love these simplistic, atmospheric, philosophical "games"... if you can even call them games, that is

was my screen supposed to turn black after I (FINALLY) climbed the steps thing??? or is that the death blackscreening bug that was supposed to be fixed? :/ also, there's a bell, like ding-ding, ding-ding, if tht helps... :/

I played this game a while back, and I decided to play it again for the hell of it, and suddenly... it became very personal to me. I just got out of a relationship with a senior and one of the reasons it happened was because she's going to college an hour and a half away from where I live and... long distance relationships. And although in my situation I'm the more bent toward that "I want to stay with you" mentality moreover the doubtfully apathetic one in this scenario, I had no idea it would ever really hit home that much for me; I always just saw it as a game that delivered a very powerful narrative through relevant mechanics and a very sympathetic story (I'm guessing this has happened to the author). I don't know if it sounds less legitimate because I'm just a high schooler, but... now it gets me on a totally different level. Wonderful job. I'd love to see more. 5/5

The depth of the tragedy in letting go. The feeling of regret. The bravado you can feel right through. The heartbreak after the gate slams down, separating the two. The lovers that should have been, but alas never were. For the boy was too scared to let himself fall in love, and hang on to the one for dear life. Such beauty, such tragedy, and a story that altogether rips the heartstrings out.

Wow! This game is simply outstanding, the way it mix the story and gameplay is amazing. I can feel related to the story and it makes the experiencien a lot of more deeper.
Amazing work, this is the new level of videogames as a way to communicate stories and feelings.

When I finally understood that I had to leave her behind and heard that bell...faster that usual...like screaming and asking me "why?!" I simply cried. This is exceptionally beatiful and charming.

Words cannot describe the feelings displayed by this game. It makes you feel a variety of emotions in such a short period of time. It makes you reflect on ideas that seem so obvious and simple but in the end they end up being entirely different. It is a game that managed to get a strong emotional reaction from me. 5/5

Simple, yet amazing. There should be more games like this. Not only it was fun to play, but you really get sucked into your character, you really for sorry for the loss of you relationship.

I am speechless. This game was absolutely magnificent, from the excellent music, to puzzles involving sound and light, to the overall atmosphere and backstory. Amazing.

If you're gonna make a love story type of game that's fine, but for the love of God DON'T say "This is not a love story" that's annoyinglymisleading.

Simply astonishing...very deep and amazing game...thanks for sharing...it was very touching...and actually affected how i was feeling. Not many games can do that now. I didn't wanna let go, and well makes me think of my relationship i'm glad i didn't let go of my girlfriend.. me and her are planning on getting married...and well this just made me reflect on how it could have been had i let go....really amazing, thanks again.

this guy had a chance with her and put himself in the freindzone and the feelings you get at the end are what makes a great game good job

This game does not have a word to describe it. Its Epic,Awesome,A tad bit sad, but no words to FULLY describe it. I loved this game :D
