controls are not working right, doing tricks that require two trick buttons pressed one after other works sometimes, usually not :(

Hey people, the game has been updated with an easier version, comments regarding impossible difficulty were written when it was indeed impossible to beat the game! So it's not you who has mad skillz, it's the game that got easier ;) Now I could pretty easily get all gold while 2 days ago I suffered for hours without success.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I believe this game to be pretty badass actually, pretty badass. I got gold on everything, just takes some time to know when to nitro. (pro tip: on some levels, pay attention to the difference in bike stats for certain levels.)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game is far too hard, the last four courses hinge on hitting one specific jump perfect with full boost, if you don't do that it is impossible to win.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Honestly, not to be an ass, but the difficulty curve seemed quite reasonable. I managed to get gold on the last three levels by only spending 15 minute s to a half an hour on each.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It took about an hour, and it wasn't easy, but I got gold on everything. It's hard but not too crazy. The first level of finals, alpine peak, WOW that's fun =)

As I see, the game has been updated and is now beatable! (Now people can't understand previous comments about it being too hard.) Please upvote this or downvote our previous top comments cursing the game, because it's now really nice and enjoyable and it deserves better feedback!

Must disagree with it being too hard. Not at all.
Just take each bike as you can, it seems pretty simple to me. Though that might just be my mAd SkilLz.
:P

Dang, the instructions tell me to type a copyright symbol to perform a trick. That's real hard while I'm navigating a nitro flip!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
how can I back flip from a stop at the bottom of a jump, but cant clear the gap on another with a full run and boost. Worst game I have played on Kongregate, No enjoyment, Can upgrade because I can;t beat races because I can't upgrade. Money to upgrade or skill, not both.

First Impressions: 1) I want to change the controls. I use my left hand for directions, I don't want to have to cross my hands. 2) I've just done the tutorial stage. I have enough money for upgrades, but they are locked. Why there is the need to lock upgrades I don't know... The money already ensures staggered progression, but if people want to grind let them grind. First impressions are important. This game fails on that point.

2 golds left :( quicksands enduro 1:08 time on it though! what time do i need to win it? and mx masters cross... pretty much just got there so i gotta learn the track
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
That is rather odd....I have played this on Miniclip and thought I would have to restart from zero, but I still have all of my bikes and upgrades. Of course, even with that I can't win!

Finally got all golds:) Heres some tips for those struggling.1) boost can be your enemy as well as ur friend, just because you have boost doesnt mean u should use it. most of the jumps can be landed better without boost allowing u to retain speed. Save ur boost for bigger jumps, and use it wisely 2) Use steep declines to ur adavantage, it is often better to slow down and use gravity and traction on a downslope to propel you past the next part of the track. For instance on alpine peak once you have the start with full boost upgrade, if u use the downslope at the beginning to gain speed and then boost of the 3rd jump you will fly right over the slow section of the course, giving you an immediate 30+metre lead.3) Use the correct bike. The viper is far better for hill climbs and freestyle events due it its better accel and control. Where as the X-fighter is better for race events without steep inclines due to its higher top speed. Hope this helps:)

Geesh, Alpine peak is tough, got 54 seconds after over an hour of learning the track and all its tricks.
This game is fun - in a masochistic kind of way :).

wtf is this game on on the euro sands and done a 1:08 and lost by the same distance as if i done a 1:27... too hard.... only way to win is to be losing by a fair bit then have a perfect finish.... get it right ffs

How do developers still incorporate Z and X in controls without even adding the option to customize them? Blows my mind.
Other I completetly agree with the other comments, game has potential, and does get extremely hard at the end.

i really hate miniclip for their overlabeling of games with their logo but i have to admit that this game really rocks
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
wow. this is the worst game i have ever played on kongregate. i mean, ever. the controls, the music - i don't even have time to review it. i have no constructive criticism that could possibly improve this game except to just scrap it entirely.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i have finished all missions at gold. the one map at which i was stacked for a day was tier 4 quicksand enduro. then i have learned that i have to use nitro befor jumping or when i want to over jump something which can slow me down.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
you really have to use the same moto than the IA. Avoiding unecessairy backflip because landing can reduce your speed. And the most important : upgrading your moto by finishing first in all previous races
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
right. agree nice game, good graphics etc blah blah. but c'mon - when you make it so difficult that after some hours spent on improving the bike and skills you still cant even come close to pc rivals then the game start IRRITATING - that means it is not fun anymore. if it is not fun. then it is 1/5. easy. cheers

Great first impression, but as you get further in the game it gets worse and worse. It's way to hard on the later levels, even with the fastest bike the others race past like it's nothing. There is no way of knowing if you have enough time to to a backflip on the next hill or not, unless you do the map over and over again till you know it like your backpocket. And the controls don't always work properly, spacebar doesn't always work, and neither does the up key at the start of a new race. All small bugs that are quite annoying over time. 3/5 stars because it's a good game but it's just not finished.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Any chance to fix the Z? 4/5 : 1) need a linear map to view and prepare for highest jumps; 2) sounds should be divided in music and Evironement (bike, crowd etc.), 3) instead of unlocking Maps should be Leveling your biker Skills to high level then the difficulty of a map can be fair!

If the AI wouldn't cheat it would be great... atleaset I think they do. I can have a 80 meter lead on the superstage tracks and 5 seconds later I have one, even with nitro wherever I can and perfect landings.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
well, some people just rate toooooooooo fair. 1/5 to balance. cause this game sucks at all. stupid unfair AI, stupid controls, stupid loadingtimes
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm on Tier 5- final and only lacking gold in MX Masters, been trying hard and can't get the Gold... Anyone else got ALL GOLD so far?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
its not that its too hard its that it seems like there is 0 AI the riders seem to do the exact same thing every time and unless you can figure out the perfect run like the on rider who wins ever time you cant possibly win.
NEEDS multiplayer DESPERATELY and it would be a great game instead of just a good one. easily the most polished and best looking of all of these type of side scrolling racers.
