this game is awesome, everything caps way too quick, i'd love a long term, more in-depth thing, with extra stages. like a booth that costs 2k to go on to next stage "warning, don't buy this unless you are sure you're ready" kinda deal

Not being able to use elixir outside the battle is a MAJOR flaw in this game. If one wants to slay a dragon, money or damageboost is needed, but since elixir gets thrown away by bying something else, it's either buy a ticket and die or don't buy a ticket and die far later on. "Use elixir" -button on the infopanel would be nice

It's happened twice now: "Ooh, finally, a gold ticket! I'm gonna use it on the next enemy I see!" *Dragon appears* "But... But... That's not fair!" *Almost ragequits before remembering how good this game is*

My first mistake was forgetting to bring Divine Edge with me... my second mistake was mistakenly thinking there was only one dragon.

wow, great song, great gameplay, BUT major luck factor? Tags should contain favors luck over skill. First 10 min awesome then seeing luck is a major gig, 2/5

I enjoyed this game at first. I really did, like for the first five minutes. But after 11 attempts at getting that last badge, and being unable to use "skill" to improve the game, it's worthless. !@#$ this game. 2/5

I agree with other comments... a really great concept; a lot of fun to play at first. But before too long you realize that a bit of bad luck means you die no matter what. I'd love to play this a lot more if a few of the luck/balance issues are fixed. More money is needed in general... more than half the things I come across are too expensive to buy. You should get more money as you level up.

Bought like 5 golden tickets and all items I passed till maxed out armor. Not a single divine edge option. Died against dragon with max equipment.

I think it would be a bit better if ur iten didnt disappear when u bought something else. Have like a 3 slot inventory where 1 is potion, 1 is divine edge, and the other spot for that golden ticket. Then all u have to do is click on the inventory item as needed. The potions stay at 150 and i think the shrines should stay at 50 as well.

This game has a neat concept, but the cons outweigh the pros, in my opinion. The fact that the layout is random with no stable algorithm leaves the game too many options to screw the player over. For instance, I had one run with no way to replenish my lifespan because the game never spawned a soul shrine. Another death came from not having any way to heal other than getting more armor. Let's not forget that the only way to kill a dragon is to have either a really good run where you max armor and weapon before even meeting a dragon, or to have the Divine Edge on you when you encounter one. The only problem with this is, there is no way to tell if the next monster is a dragon or not. Basically, this game boils down to one thing. Luck. With no upgrade system to speak of, this game receives a 1/5 stars in my book.

I'm upset the game let me buy an extra elixir only to discover there is no inventory and see I've wasted my money....

I've had max level weapon and armor, but have not gotten the part of the first achievement (getting lvl 3 weapon). :( Fun game though!

It is possible to kill the dragon without the sword skill but you need a good defense, i had samurai mail and a katana when i killed him. Elixir is required tho.

wow, what an insulting game. not only are all powerups and enemies coming at you randomly. But all experiance does is increase the multiplier on your score. Not only isn't there a leaderboard in game or in kong to make use of the score, but if you ever have a run that you don't beat your previous hiscore you know that round sucked alot because you are on a higher multiple. With no way to manage the randomness there is hardly anything to feel acomplished over. I mean for crying out loud the end screen doesn't even display what day you made it to.Don't get me wrong there is a little bit of strategy but, I doubt Strategists or Completionists will find this game compelling. Not sure how it got badges but i'm sorry to say those are the only things that got me to do more than 3 runs. +1 for music, +1 for art but that's it. 2/5

Armor shrines should become healing stations when you max out armor. Otherwise it becomes a useless building and the only way to heal is elixir.

This game really needs a few more boosts in the beggining, especially since you level up. Honestly, I don't care about my score in the game. What I care about is staying in the game for the next half hour or so because I started off with a few more decent things, and was well able to deal with a few baddies. I think this game could go from a 4/5 game in my book to a 5/5 game if these things were added in. Definitely take advice from Satanistic, as he says what should be added.

Great game, but needs a bit of fine tuning with the RNG, (maybe the life shrines actually spawning when you need them? Devine edges spawing when you CAN afford them and not DIRECTLY BEHIND A DRAGON!?). In addition, needs to have a better leveling system; actual upgrades, not just better score.

Great idea but the rng is way to strong in this one, I don't usually mind games with a little luck but trying to kill the dragon can be ridiculous when you only get one divine edge the entire game which is at the start when you can't afford it, let alone spare the money to buy one because you won't get armor shops for 5 or 6 fights at a time. closest I got was a divine edge spawning directly behind the dragon when i had like 900 gold built up waiting for it, yeah eff that

Pro tips:
Buy armor only when you're low on health. The only reliable way to kill the dragon is to use divine edge, so make sure you have one ready when you expect to see a dragon. There is almost always a soul stone when you have 30% or less on the meter, so don't buy too early as the cost gets out of hand quickly. Golden tickets are fantastic if and only if you have the 500 to spare and will survive until the next armor shop - always buy one if you can manage that. Good luck.

It's an interesting game, but there are a few comments that you should take on board for a future version. Firstly, shops should stop arriving when you reach the maximum level - I don't want to lose 5% lifespan for a shop that I couldn't possibly use. The lack of progression between runs is bad for re-playability but does make the game fairer, and more luck based which I suppose is what you were going for. It'd be nice to see a campaign similar in style to the many launch games out there (not really game altering, but allowing permanent improvements). I really enjoyed this one, hope to see more from you soon.

Several tips:
Armor shop looks like it's there to improve your armor... it isn't, it's there to full heal your hp (like soul shrine)
Stock up on divine edge, its rare and you won't beat that damn dragon without it
Curse whenever you fight a golem... damn things take forever to kill and waste both hp and transparency
I GOT A GOLDEN TICKET!!! <--- vouchers are worth... except when your next boss is a dragon. Seriously, save up for the vouchers

You can't defeat the dragon without a divine edge. So make sure you have at least 200 gold on you in case you come across one. If you can, buy a golden ticket in lieu of an upgrade. They boost your gold reward bonus. I was lucky enough to get 3 and I was able to max out completely. Also, if possible wait until two armor/sword upgrades at the same time, you get them at the same price and the price only goes up by one. Armor also heals you; I got through only using my beginning elixir.

This game is a fresh of breath air!! The gameplay is one of a kind and I really can't wait to see a sequel. Attribute points, more bosses, visual changes, and a larger inventory would be nice. Maybe add in a special move meter for beating so many mobs in a row to take out those pesky dragons ;)

Impressive for an experimental game. Certainly original. A few added extras as previous comments have stated, would make for an awesome update or sequel. 5/5

Before even starting playing, I went into in-game achievements and find out that I already have 7% of game progress. "Just how long is that game?" I asked myself ;]

Having something to increase attack speed (say shoes or with armor) would be nice, because getting hit two or three times before you attack is a huge piss off. Other than that it's pretty good, but I agree that some other bonus to leveling up would make it better.
