Very good concept. Maybe an attack speed increase as you upgrade your weapon? a little unbalanced as i am having issues getting past day 7 but other than that 5/5

As I "level up" the monster seem to be getting much more difficult right off the bat I'm getting my ass handed to me on the first monster if it's a golem even using the elixer. Honestly I'm going to have to take it down to 1/5 it's just not really playable and the tutorial if you can call it that doesn't really explain the game.

Very unbalanced, way too random really. good Idea poor implementation 2/5 has potential though would love to see it reworked could be a 4/5 for me.

Wolves attack 2-3 times in a row damaging the most of all enemies. More nerf please I find a flesh and bone creature to be less dangerous than a concrete five foot tall golem with the power of a dragon.

The basic concept is cool, but there is a LOT of room for improvement. Money is gained too slowly -- the balance of luck vs. skill is not quite right yet.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Agh, please just turn off the enemy double turn thing, it's too much to try to be efficient while also not being able to account for how stupid your NPC might be.

Those trolls are such trolls. Everything seems to go wrong when I fight one, from "omg why did -that- hit hit harder than the one before it?" and "Why did she let him hit her 3 times while she only struck him once?" invariably leading to a death while holding a potion. :P

Luck based game... with no real rewarding system to back it up.
After each run the only thing i get is a score multiplier.... i wish i could get new chars , better starting money and stuff..
Still , to much luck involved. 2/5

Although it's pretty luck based, actually strategy matters a lot.
1. Gold Coupon : increase gold drop by 10x from the next monster. Must have (and use) to make you able to buy high level weapon/armors
2. Divine Rapier : Buy near level 10. Must have in your inventory to slay dragons. That's the only way to kill the dragon (level 9 sword only deal around 1100 damage to dragon)
3. Elixir : Keep the initial elixir and use when you really need it. I rarely buy it after that.
Of course there's also timing strategy (usually for lifespan and armors) and your strategy to pick your knight build.
I prefer the "VIT" build early on, just buy armors when you're hurt while saving for ticket. Buy weapons when needed.
After you got ticket, buy every weapon and most armors like mad. Don't forget about the divine rapier. Final tips, good luck :)
Just one important note to dev : Please give delay between dragons. Getting two dragon a row is very annoying, and I never passed the second dragon :(

Here is my technical response as compared to: The game sucks because it is based on luck.
Let us see, most gamers play games because they have crappy luck, therefore, a game like this is horrible for most gamers. The stone golems are overpowered, the armor does nothing, being concerned with both lifespan and health is just lame, and dying and losing everything is pretty stupid as well. Only my first game did I get health potions and afterwards, I got overpriced crap. Overall, great concept, and that earns you 3/5, but the other 2/5 is lost since there is no replayability.

I'm not a huge fan of the gold voucher system - it basically forces you to pass up buying anything at the beginning if you want to get farther than the fifth equipment sets in the collection. With the riches it gives you, you can then get more and more gold vouchers later on if you can find them... Kind of takes over the whole game in a way I don't like. I don't like the Dragon system, either; impossible to beat without a Divine Edge (or nearly impossible). So one is forced to hang onto it all the time out of fear of finding a dragon, preventing them from carrying ANY other item. (Even gold vouchers =p) And if you don't find ANY Divine Edges... I love the concept, though, and am glad this is getting a "sequel" of sorts.

I would like to be able to use items whenever.. I often find myself missing the opportunity to use an elixer at the end of a battle but needing to buy an item in the next group.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
not having enough money is a bit of an issue; need more explanations on elixirs, doesn't appear you can stack them; i thought i bought one but it didn't work, and the divine edge....not sure what that does either. I like the concept but i don't get a sense i have much options but to eventually die with no real options not to.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Way too much luck involved. I had great armor, a great weapon, full health and an elixir, but the dragon totally owned me.
What the hell is the point in playing over and over if you don't get any permanent bonuses?

I had the feeling, many times, that the game should be called Troller Knight... 'cause when you arrive at an armory shop and see you can't afford it by 2 damn gold pieces, you could almost see the li'l cute knight smile back at you with this "U mad ?" expression. But, overall, nice idea and pretty fun. Too bad I didn't choose Divine Luck at birth. ;)

I've never struggled with getting a lifespan shrine to show up when I need it, problem is they show up three in a row when I don't need them ;) That golden ticket is really valuable but I usually can't afford it when it shows up -_- Or after I buy one and use it there are no health potions or armour shops, just a load of monsters :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Shrug - just too random for me. Well done technically etc. from what I can see, and nice developer response to issues, so go team there. Other than that it's too "not my kind of thing" I think to say much of use.

Couple complaints... The randomness of what shows up completely kills this game. You ran through 3 weapons shops, followed by 2 armor shops, and another weapon shop. You have no money, are running out of life, and, LOOKOUT! there's a monster. Oh, it hit you 7 times in a row before you got to attack. You're dead. And what's the point of gaining levels? I don't get any extra health/damage. Would be fun, if it wasn't so damn random. 2/5 for now

Rather than have starting gold, you might consider having encounters give additional gold based on your level. Also, it'd be fantastic if your equipment visually changed as you upgraded to give a better feel of progression than currently exists. Good work so far!

Give the Dragon a special marker when it is coming up that way we know to prepare for it a few tiles ahead. I hate just cruising by a divine edge going o I can wait for the next one i might need this potion soon, there is just going to be an ugly goblin right here and bam a Dragon! And if you gave it a special icon it would build up the dragon encounter more, to make it epic, like fighting a dragon should be.

Another idea for a minor tweak - give the first strike to the player, always. Very frustrating to reach dragon with divine edge equipped and being insta-killed before being able to use it.

A brilliant, original and addictive game. However the luck/tactics balance needs to be fixed, I managed to make it to the 1st dragon twice but there wasn't even a remote chance of beating it. Unless you're (really really) lucky enough to get a golden ticket early on then you have no hope of beating this game.

ah ok, nvm, should read the description first -.- also i did press M but at first nothing happened, then 3 or 4 seconds lter a fadeout -.- you should really make it instant ^^
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
As others have said, the Lifespan concept is both frustrating and redundant. Also the game would feel much less dependent on luck and more strategic if we could see an extra 3 or 4 events ahead.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I hate to see that i can use Elixir ONLY in battle against monster. Make it possible to use item anytime. This way it will be possible to buy new item without wasting old item. Make more item slot in further update if possible. Useless to buy item other than Elixir since we don't know when armor upgrade or Elixir will be available. Maybe if the "event list" was bigger then it will be easier to change strategy to survive longer.

Good game. Excellent. 4/5. only 4/5 because of one thing. I can go a full 10 days without ever seeing a potion shop, which make keeping my health and lifespan up extremely difficult because I can never have enough gold to buy armor and replenish my lifespan. I think you should make the cost of replenishing lifespan lower. Make the price increase slower. By day 10 it costs like 400 gold, I end up having to waste my money on that, which means I can't buy a sword or armor upgrade.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I love the concept. However, the game is just WAY too small right now. With some patches or a sequel, this could definitely be one of the best games on Kong, imo.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I don't like that enemies have a chance of attacking you multiple times without retaliation while the player has no such chance... Otherwise it's a solid game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the dragon is way too powerful, maybe you could have a divine edge show up before fighting it? i have level 6 sword and Armour and an elixir and full health but his 1500 attacks just crush me and my setup.
