There should be a restart/quit/main menu button. I messed up on Day 1 or 2 of a run, and have to wait for the full thing to finish. At least have a pause option...

That hard badge felt like it was easy. Got it on my second try (along with medium badge). Did need an elixer and only had about 100 hp left after killng the dragon (and died next monster), but that were some very easy points. I did wonder if leveling gave another bonus, but I couldn't detect anything other than score.

give me attribute points for lv up plz.... can't beat dragon and there is no difference on the event shown as the golem....i miss a few times for getting the 10000% atk just before dragon...gold is always insufficient....monsters are too strong....

Tip to kill the dragon : you need to get the gold ticket, if you use it you get 1000% of gold in next monster, if you do this you get a lot of money and can upgrade the itens =)

@ChrisJason: actually, it's possible to kill the dragon without using divine edge, if you can find and buy a golden ticket early and spend all the money you earn from it to upgrade weapon and armor as much as you can.

That dragon is impossible to kill unless u are taking divine edge.. the dragon is a surprise, and most often we are not ready to fight, either life too low, or not having divine edge..

Anyways, great game, great concept, great music and great potential.
As many others said, some bonuses for leveling up would be nice and, if possible, the visual change someone already proposed along with upgrades. I really hope that sequel/extension will be realized, 'cause damn, I really love this game!

Honestly, the gold rewards from enemies forces you to choose, essentially, between life or health. Also... the randomness of getting shops is irritating. I often get two of the same shops in a row. It's not a bad concept, but it needs a bit of a fine-tuning.

What makes you think I care about my score? Boo for lack of progress. Yay for addictive "I -will- beat the dragon this run.... or not..."

Some tips: when you change your consumable item (divine's edge, elixir, gold ticket) it should activate the previous item's effect. This way, if you buy a gold ticket over your elixir you heal yourself.
Also, the dragon enemy should have a different icon (maybe a red dragon icon instead of gold dragon)

Please, at least don't allow 2 Dragons to come too early. It's not fun when you slay the dragon, grab a voucher, kill the goblin coming up next and, when you think you're finally doing it right, there comes another dragon...

Wow...Got all 3 badges in one go! I even slayed a dragon, which I didn't do when I had a guest account! This is actually pretty fun but still.

Adding skill points as a reward for leveling wouldn't be bad. You could then use them for small bonuses (Could be: more gold in the beginning, more gold from enemies, more damage dealt, less damage received, faster attack, better starting items, larger inventory, cheaper items, life lasts longer)

This game is way too random. I really thought I was making progress until I realized leveling up only multiplied the score, which does nothing. It's a crapshoot on whether you make the right choices or not, but eventually you'll make the wrong one because you should've bought this or rested there about five screens back. Even attacking is random; the enemy can sometimes hit me three times before I get a hit in. If there was some way to strategize, I'd rate it much higher, but as it is, it's way too random for me to progress. 3/5

the game just started to be fun and then already dragon slayn in the 3rd or 4th run :( way too easy for ahard badge imo

I like it, but I'd like to see more characters, more adventures, levelling up lets you level up starting perks to increase your base damage and health before each adventure, more characters and way more items and spells. Just more content without adding more button inputs.

Survival Tips: 1 - Every run starts with an elixir, don't waste it right away. 2 - Buy elixirs only when you have to. 3 - Buying armor restores your HP to full (it doubles as a heal). 4 - Don't buy Armor/Soulshrines when your HP/Lifespan are at full. 5 - You can beat a dragon without getting a Gold Ticket. You will need a Divine Edge to be able to 1-hit it before it kills you. 6 - Each run is random so just improve your play skill until you get a "good shot" at beating the game.

@Balbanes If you just read the top comments, you'll notice that its not the elixir that will help you beat a dragon, but divine edge.

This game is too roguelike. It's entirely random whether you'll make it far enough to even reach a dragon. Not controlling any of the combat in the game makes it dependent on the events that you get.

Dear Kongregate Team, you may want to reconsider the criteria by which you choose whether a badge is easy or medium or hard. I just earned easy and medium in one single run and it did't even take me half a cup of coffee to do it (and we're talking morning coffee here since I literally just got out of bed, it's not the kind of late night coffee to keep me awake and playing for another few hours...). On the other hand there are certain hard badges that I've been working on for months and months and I still don't have them, which makes me wonder whether an impossible badge would have been adequate...?

first goal to get is gold voucher instead of upgrades :3
also get ready for one elixir for survive and prepare to buy the gold voucher or upgrade your armor when your hp reach 200 or less depend the enemy dmg :3
also upgrade your weapon/armor when you have 500++ gold and 2 or more bladesmith/armorsmith in next move :3
also you must buy divine edge on day 10/11 to prepare fight the dragon or you can maximize your weapon and armor upgrade before meet the dragon and use elixir at good timing(elixir heal full health) :3
also you must restore your lifespan on soulshrine when ur lifespan meet 23% or less. you musn't restore when the lifespan still on 30% or more, the soulshrine will come again :3
