nice game, thanks for the in-jump freeze trick so i could defeat the final boss. i already had it down in my muscle memory to stop moving while jumping since i believed it to be common among games to use that kind of physics :)

For those of you who are stuck on Deception level, first simply go right until you see the beam of light and JUST WAIT. After about a minute the beam should go away, and then you should keep going right. Eventually, you'll see a pack of golden bullets. DON'T WASTE THESE. If you keep going right after that, you'll see a wall with one gold part in the middle. Throw a golden bullet onto this and use it to jump over and continue rightward. A doppelganger will then appear. Jump and move right, and throw a spike in mid air. Your doppelganger will not copy this, and move further left than you do right. Then move more right, and he should fall left into the central gems. Finally, run right into one final beam of light.

I just noticed when the game starts to break apart in the good ending, the word "Deception" for the level title distorts into "PoeticEnd"... Cool.

It's a bit annoying that the jump jey doesn';t always work with the directional buttons, but aside from that, very good game.

The best thing about this game was that it lets you do whatever you want (I just loved ignoring those gems while he yelled at me to get them) and no one can stop you - unlike in real life :)

I'll give a hint to the last part to kill your "other" self. When you shoot the spikes, you will stop for a moment in mid-air.

I HATE MYSELF, why do I always love the sad games T~T It was such an amazing story and I thought personally that the music really fit. I recognize that the boxed creature was an analogy to himself becuase he himself was stuck in a cage, the walls of his own emotions. one side of him wanted to never open his feelings to the outside world, to others. the other side wanted to open up to be free. if you dont open your walls all you'll do is "Kill us both". . .

@Terrak it was edited after the badge came out. Das was the one who came up with it, then the badge was added. Later the game added that end.

I love how they gave credit for the badge name to Das654 even though it said "POETICEND" at the end of the game. The word "DECEPTION" at the top of the screen changes to several anagrams while the screen cracks, and "POETICEND" is the last one it shows.

The game itself isn't that bad. I rather enjoy it. That being said the jumping aspect of it is absolutely awful. It isn't uncommon to get either a delayed or no response when attempting to jump.
