I personally love this game. Very fun, very addicting. Good replay value, GREAT controls, and I love the upgrade option. A solid 4/5.

Here's a tip for noobs: Even though you can't choose levels, you can start a new campaign and keep all you've already bought, even though it won't be equipped in the first level(excluding upgrades like missile lock)

The graphics hurt my eyes and make the game seem more boring. Either make the graphics clearer or simpler, but not this blurry thing. Seriously, the graphics makes the game seem repetetive because... well, it just does. Also the weapons really shouldn't stop right where you clicked, they should keep going. The mouse shold just point the direction of fire, not the target. It requires too much mouse movement for it to be playable on a laptop.

That water tiles are pretty good! The maps could use a beach-tile thoug.
And it was nice, if there was something like a AA Back turret to attack planes aswell...
4/5

Good idea, horrible mech customization menu, pressing menu during a mission pulled you from the mission and you had to start over.

It started out just great. The mech is slow to turn and change directions, but that is purposeful, and realistic, since the mech has to weigh like 1000 tons. But it wasn't really that customizable, and all of the missions are the same; the enemies just get new vehicles, and more of them. Also, I hated the range finder. Your bullets and lasers would only fire as far as the mouse was, so I had to keep my curser near the edges of the screen, and that caused me to slide offscreen and lag the game up. Pointless.

I thought it was an advertisement for a movie called 3000, lol, because it was called 3000 AD, which is an abrieviation for advertisement. Boy, was I wrong, lol.

Some sort of radqr would be handy as the viewpoint makes it hard to see where enemy and their camp is. Screen is a bit to dark and weapons underpowered in the beginning. I made it to the 2nd mission where at the end planes drop more enemy, bombs and missiles are flying around.
I recommend Trech 1 & 2 by mockworld as you are in the mech looking out. I very highly recommend "Kilroy: Chernobyl Farms" also by mockworld on shockwave.com. Start on easy so you learn how not to blow yourself up with your 20mm HE shells. Three difficulties.
This game could be better but that depends on the developer. Only two stars.

Nod - as late to the party as I am - I'd really like to see something like this done with a better storyline, more mechs/options/upgrades, exp system maybe... yeah I know I want oldschool console battletech on Flash. Yeah, so? That'd be quite awesome - bring it and I'll love it. This actually PLAYS very much like Battletech should - and that's worth a hell of a lot for me. Bravo mate.

The first half was very good, but after I had my Mech kitted out the way I wanted there was no fun in upgrading left, and the missions started to feel repetitive. Maybe unlimited upgrades with Diminishing returns would solve the upgrades problem....

You can rag on this game all you want. But i think it's great. it Looks like mechanical commando 2, but i think this has better graphics. even if it IS blocky / 4/5

Game winner, do you know when Mechannical Commando 2 was published? This came out in 20008, so unless if Mechannical Commando 2 came out in 2007 or soomething, it's the other way around.

Wow, great game. A lot like BattleTech on Sega Genesis. Too bad FASA Corp isn't around anymore.
Ugh, i just made myself feel old. Anyone else use to role dice?
